I for one love this stuff. I wish we didn't suck, so we could yap a little bit because I think this is what makes CFB special.
Horn's comments are comical. Pretty sure Nebraska trusts it's DB's way more than TCU. TCU's D Coordinator was an idiot. This is just stupid. Personal? Why? You've been @ CU for less than 6 months. Just STFUA!
“It’s personal for us this week. It’s personal,” receivers coach Brett Bartolone said. “We’re expecting a little more (off-man) coverage this week, a little more zone coverage this week. So we’ve just gotta be where the quarterback expects us to be.”
“Depending on the players they’ve got on their team, it’s trust with your DBs,” Horn said. “They probably might not trust their DBs as much, so they’re running more zone than, like, TCU. They trusted their DBs, so they ran a lot of man. But this team, you’re going to see more double cloud, Tampa 2. … You won’t see too much man besides third down and stuff like that.”
“I’ve gotta do my homework a little bit on the rivalry, but I just know we don’t like red,” Weaver said.
When asked if he has found a good reason to hate the Huskers yet, Horn spoke the universal language of trash talk. “Nah, but I hate them.”
“I gotta do my research and learn more,” he went on to say, “so I can just add a little extra hate in my heart.”
Too bad the days of headhunting are over. ^ This Fvckers head would be first!

It’s almost like he wants NU to play man instead of zone with that comment.
The sack by Nash really opened my eyes. Have not seen a big guy on our team move that fast for a long time. Guessing that MN QB wasnt expecting that kind of closing speed. Heres to hoping I get to see him flatten Sanders 4 times Saturday.Yep. Damon Benning has said it and if you go back and watch the game as well, CU ran some pretty simple concepts in the passing game. Our D-Coordinator will be ready. We might get out-athleted at times, but that is football. We've got a pretty good D and I think we'll be ready to play. To say that our defense is slow is pretty comical. Even the big boys up front move around pretty well.
Or spell it.Bet 75% of their team couldn't locate Nebraska on a map.
You misspelled "hours""it's personal"
- kid from Florida who only intended on playing for universities in the south and likely didn't know about this rivalry until months ago
As was the OC.Horn's comments are comical. Pretty sure Nebraska trusts it's DB's way more than TCU. TCU's D Coordinator was an idiot.
I'm starting to think CU isn't the classiest place around. Can't wait to hear how many 8 year old kids get beat up in the parking lot, or how many tires get slashed, which size of battery the students decide to throw (Im guessing C), or how many cups of piss get tossed on our fans, or maybe which player will be chosen to purposely hurt our QB under the pile. Hopefully Deion has prepped his team for all this important stuff.
I’ll give him this… does a good job rallying the troops and giving a unified message. Seems to know how to motivate. As much as I thought they would be a mess, they sure don’t seem to be at this stage. This weekend will show a lot.
