Mickey Won’t replace Casey

I could argue just the opposite occurs when you have a primarily running QB. Look at what happened when Rutgers went with their running QB, the D doesn't worry about the pass, they can be much more aggressive.

D coordinators prepare for everything, if anything, it makes a team one dimensional and easier to defend.
Exactly why Smothers could be effective in a play action RPO situation. Yeah he’s not a drop back passer but his run threat would get the attention of backers and DBs.

Based on his playing time last year, it's easy to find just look it up but I'll post it. Logan Smothers Nebraska football stats 2021 here are is his stats from 2021, 37 rushing attempts 133 yards 2 TD's, 33 passing attempts 23 completions 69.7 % 317 yards 1 Int
0 TD's
So we can extrapolate those numbers to this year? I am going to guess Luke had similar numbers.

So what you are saying is the Nrbraska coaches don't know what they are doing and the opposing team D would.not figure it out as well. Not to mention.all the hoopla and stats are from a totally different O last year.

Sometimes I wonder if haters of Nebraska football come on here to try to create dissention amongst the real fans.
How do you tell the difference between the two. The ones who questioned Frost early, were they dissenters or true fans? Or the ones who haven't been keen on what Chins was doing on D from day one, dissenter or true fan?
