Maybe? So, Thompson is the only P5 quarterback on the team?
I just know that HH is not, and that will be proved out.

You're not missing anything. People just say idiotic things on this board. It's like thinking is some kind of superpower. What confuses me about this thread are the number of people saying MJ would do well at ASU and it would be a great fit for him.
Uhhh....
Why? Why would he do well at ASU and not Nebraska, which has more money and resources and is in a better conference?
Why could he somehow succeed at ASU but not NU? What am I missing here?
Someone will hire him based on what exactly? The promise of good recruiting?Someone is going to hire Mickey as HC. All you nice fans that want this guy and that guy are going to be sucking wind when he leaves takes a large portion of this team and recruits with him along with some coaches. Why TA wonts his cute new coach that will flounder for 3 years and everybody can hate that guy. Hire mickey
First off Todd Graham wasn’t fired. He agreed to part ways with ASUArizona St current AD is rumored to be on the hot seat although recently received a vote of confidence from the university president for whatever that is worth
this is the guy who fired a coach who had been to 5 bowls in 6 seasons including a couple of 10 win seasons
he cited that wasn’t good enough and went out and got his guy to take them to the next level …. Herm Edwards
they are going to let the guy who thought Herm Edwards was a good idea make the next hire and some here are feeling the pressure that Neb has to act because of what this ASU AD might be considering ?
Ray Anderson - ASU AD
He was firedFirst off Todd Graham wasn’t fired. He agreed to part ways with ASU
secondly Todd Graham was 18-20 in his last 3 seasons @ ASU. 2 of 3 were losing seasons and the last one he was 7-6, so not exactly amazing
and finally I don’t know why you are showing a picture of their AD. Seems like you are insinuating something here with his last hire and his interest in Mickey. that’s a real nothing burger. Keep in mind he did fire Edwards who basically went to a Bowl Game every year he was a HC and never had a losing season!!!
Nobody here has offered him a job. If Mickey is smart he will listen to offers. If anybody thinks he risk his future by turning down an offer to stay here, they are nutsWhat confuses me about this thread are the number of people saying MJ would do well at ASU and it would be a great fit for him.

ASU, colorado and one more will give Mickey’s tires a serious kick
book it
And no doubt a Mormon…..I call total BS. No way after the Edwards debacle are they going to bring in someone who has never been a full time head coach or coordinator and who has a losing record as an interim. ASU just built a brand new facility a few years back. I could see them maybe being interested in Vance Joseph because of his NFL time and head coaching experience but I doubt that because of what happened with Herm. The hot young name is Kenny Dillingham Oregon’s offensive coordinator who has ties to the program.
He’s going to have some issues filling that job with a somewhat proven coach IMO. A coordinator hire seems likely or a fcs guy.lol if anyone thinks the AD that's on the hot seat for the failed Herm Edwards experiment, is going to risk his job by hiring an interim coach with 2 wins....I have oceanfront property in Tempe to sell you.
But, what does that mean for Nebraska?lol if anyone thinks the AD that's on the hot seat for the failed Herm Edwards experiment, is going to risk his job by hiring an interim coach with 2 wins....I have oceanfront property in Tempe to sell you.

The program is bigger than MJ. Even MJ himself admitted that. Nebraska will be fine either way.He will go if he doesn’t get the head job. It might be a year, but he will go.
guessing bob. with this much time trev has been working on this since last year. think trev had a pretty good idea what ole frosty was up to. pathetic effort at start of year finally got boosters off their ass and gave the go ahead to send him packing. reserve the right to change my mind on this of course.Who do you think it is?
If they have one foot out the door...Exactly. Same here.
Fine…..yea we have been fine lately. The program is bigger than MJ. Even MJ himself admitted that. Nebraska will be fine either way.
I'm not sure I want Aranda without Mickey though...aranda would be a home run, and with mickey going to asu..that will help clear things up
Yepper. It's going to be pretty funny watching this place burn to the ground when a coach is hired and it's not Mickey. I love the guy but some a you guys are acting like a toddler who was told he wasn't getting any candy in the checkout lane. You're just setting yourself up for a tantrum. Personally, I think this program could really benefit from a total reset with an entirely new crew. If Mickey stays great, but if he leaves I wish him luck.
I'm not sure I want Aranda without Mickey though...
I'm interested in Grimes*Grimes

Why did you post a picture of the AD?He was fired
Arizona State on Sunday cut ties with Todd Graham, firing the sixth-year coach just hours after the bowl-eligible Sun Devils beat rival Arizona to wrap up the regular season.
In a news conference, Vice President of Athletics Ray Anderson thanked Graham for his efforts cleaning up the program off the field and in the classroom. But on the field he made it clear that Graham had fallen short of expectation.
“We want to compete for championships and we want to win consistently across the board in all of our sports,” Anderson said. “In football, we have not done that in the four years that I have been there. Not consistently. We have been average. (A record of) 7-5 and second place in a riddled Pac-12 South is not our aspiration. We deserve more.”

ASU football coach Todd Graham went 46-31 during his six years in Tempe but it wasn't enough. Todd Graham was fired Sunday morning.www.azcentral.com

9/10 would do.Elon Musk’s baby momma?
Remove Bill Obrien and I agreeWhat about Aranda, BOB, Stoops. A lot of good coaches out there.
Calling you out Harry Carey. Want to make another crack about Alcorn State?
Now this is a plot twist M Night Shyamalan can get behind.Calling you out Harry Carey. Want to make another crack about Alcorn State?
Neither ASU nor Colorado are remotely interested in Mickey Joseph as their new head coach.ASU, colorado and one more will give Mickey’s tires a serious kick
book it

That would make way too much sense...Neither ASU nor Colorado are remotely interested in Mickey Joseph as their new head coach.

I've been a witness, and fan, to 7 different Husker coaches, and Lord willing, I will be here for #8 rather its Mickey, Bob, Lane, or whoever. It's going to be pretty funny watching this place burn to the ground when a coach is hired and it's not Mickey.
