Michigan at NU Basketball

We are... SOOOOOO.... bad on offense. We suck at defending the perimeter too, but the offensive end is just brutal.

This place needs an Evan Taylor missed layup meter.

Watson is a shadow of himself right now. Is it injury or is it something els
The difference between the teams can be boiled down to this: everyone on UM's team can nail a 3. NU starts a guard who averaged 7pts/game in JUCO.........

Some schemes make it easier for players to take a shot in rythm and in the flow of the offense, which will equal a higher percentage. Our offense isn't in that category.

I wish 1620 the zone had a "Big Red Overreaction" call in show right after this game.

Did I nod off and dream that Jordy Tschimanga had a really solid first half, and was the only real bright spot of the night?

I get that he can't guard any of Michigan's players on the perimeter, but this game was decided an hour ago. Get your young big man on the GD floor and let him play.

If lose your last game at home by 30 to a 9-8 team to cap off a 13th place finish, you are not going to be the coach next year.

I hope we get out assess handed to us...again...against Penn State, so we can finally rid ourselves of the 'no motion' motion offense. I doubt it will take that, because I think Miles' fate is already sealed, but just to make sure he is gone..

Completely boat raced, at home, on Senior Night, by the #8 seed in the upcoming conference tourney.

Not that it would have made a dent in the outcome of this crap show, but Tschimanga getting 12 freaking minutes on a night when his play was the one and only positive thing NU had going is mystifying to me.

The kid must wonder why he bothered to bust his ass in the first half, only to be forgotten about. I could put a lot more stock in the "we're sooooo young" refrain if the young guys were actually getting a chance to get better.

Worst home loss ever. I will be fascinated to read this week all the reasons Miles should keep his job.

The two previous coaches got 6 years and never made it to the tourney and Miles made it one time already and it is only his 5th year.

Everyone has knee-jerk reactions following a loss... or a complete ass-whipping... but damn, not a good ending to the season for Miles. Not sure I would argue against his firing after the last few games :(

SE better have his ducks in a row and be ready to go to replace Miles. If NW makes the tourney and wins a game, maybe SE could advertise that "you could be the coach that gets the final tourney winless team their win!" and if NW doesn't do it, he could advertise that "you could help us get our first tourney win so we aren't the last one to get it!"

Why must Miles get hopes up by beating Indiana, Maryland, and Iowa to start the conference season, then beat Purdue and play Wisconsin close... only to drive every last fan to drinking by ending the season the worst way possible?

I don't think anyone could seriously really argue that Miles should keep his job after the ending to the season. Sick:oops:

Edit: I am a Miles supporter, but if he is fired, it will be with plenty of reason. Should he keep his job, he better go all out next year to save face. I just don't see SE keeping him after the barrage of emails that fans are typing right now to send to SE telling him to do the deed.

I think it allso may be the worst home loss ever.

Wow...I recall some KU games that were way out of hand in the Collier/Saddler era, must have closed the gap when KU emptied the bench.
