Instead of saving this for the next TT in two weeks, I thought it would be more topical and timely to just run this now as a standalone item.

Message Board Musings

Iowa board

Nick Henrich commits to Nebraska

WTF!!!

Puke

Here is the ass whoppings he will take over the next 4-5 years.

Booo

Good for him if that’s what he wants. Pisses me, off but I seriously doubt he cares what I think or what anybody on this board thinks.

My son just texted me. I am dumbfounded. Too bad. He could have been All Big Ten.

Unless/until the Frost lovefest is proven to be a hoax, we’re not going to have much success in recruiting Omaha. Been fun while it lasted.

It was pretty obvious when he never returned to any Iowa recruiting events that he wasn’t going to be a Hawk. The hype around Frost will gain them some recruits. Will be interesting to see if he can live up to it.

Next man in ... get guys who wanna be here dammit

So much for being a lifelong Hawkeye fan.

Kid will regret this decision imo. Dumb move. Oh well, Iowa never has a problem putting out very good to great linebackers. This doesn't hurt Iowa at all.

Knee meet crotch...

Well I’m gonna need at least 4 Viagra tonight if Mrs Herk can somehow get me in a happy mood.:mad:

We’re pretty set at that position anyway.

Can't blame a kid for wanting to try and turn the irrelevant home state school into a program that can contend for upper half division finishes.

Frankly, better Nebraska than Wisconsin.

The rooms spinning... from all, from all the g*y

Not shocking in any way shape or form. There were some on here who simply did not want to accept reality. Next!

If my kid accepted an offer to Nebraska over Iowa I would disown him. I mean, it would never in a million years happen because I have properly brainwashed my kids. But there is zero chance they would feel any pull to turn the program around.

Frost will out recruit Ferentz for every recruit who is not an Iowa kid who grew up a Hawkeye fan.

300 posts since 2002...you should post less.

Oh well, his loss. Hope he enjoysthe middle/bottom of the West

Hope he enjoys being part of the the pink shirt D. Love our ‘19 class without him.

OK this is not the Hawks lose YET! This will take 4 plus years to pan out, lets see if they can coach him up like it could have been @ Iowa, only time will tell this tale..like all.

Why would a kid that says he's a life long Hawkeye fan commit to Nebby??? Something very stinky here. I understand if a Nebby kid wants to stay home, but not a Hawk fan. Oh well....we'll get somebody that will turn out to be an AA.

Especially since they only started recruiting him 6 months ago

We’ll get over it. Now all have to do is watch one of our o-lineman pancake his ass.

Warren Buffett approves your message. Seriously, Engineering’s biological/agricultural engineering specialty program ranked 10th in the nation. I believe the have a good accuracy science program, as well.

So are we pushing for Hickman who according to @3boysmom has been telling Heinrich is stupid to choose Nebraska, or do we have other TE recruits listed higher?

Wisconsin board

FOOTBALL RECRUITING Nick Henrich to Nebraska. Just committed tonight.

SUCKS.

We need some goodnews soon.

Not a worry. Great season ahead. If they pick up Lytle, good job. Got some really strong PWOs - we'll be fine.

Notre Dame board

2019 LB Nick Henrich Commits To Nebraska

Locking up what talent is in Nebraska has been a top priority for Frost since he walked in the door. Anything other than this would’ve been a shocker.

Sorry we missed out. I think he'll do well for himself.
