Matt Rhule wins 1 of the last 2 to become bowl eligible. Next year, Nebraska wins 9 or 10 games. Year 3 has always been good for Matt Rhule.

Can’t wait to lose to some Mountain West team in the Scooters Coffee Bowl.
I could see a scenario like this happening if it were to happen.
Will it happen? Highly Doubtful!
If a miracle win happens over Wisconsin, I think our percentages go from zero to 30% we beat Iowa. I’m not holding my breath with this Husker team. They don’t even believe in themselves!
Nebraska is 3-5 when you don't account for their wins against 2-8 UTEP and 2-9 Northern Iowa.
Nebraska's 3 wins are against 6-4 Rutgers at home by 7, a road win at 1-9 Purdue, Nebraska trailed 3-0 with 3 minutes left in the 3rd qtr. Many people on here will tell you Nebraska's best win is against Colorado but will simultaneously tell you Colorado would have a losing record if they played in the Big Ten.
Looking ahead to next year's schedule - Nebraska should be able to go 11-1.

Not sure why people assume year 3 will be magical for Rhule.
Remember Rhule himself has said that Nebraska was different than Temple and Baylor. At Temple and Baylor, Rhule said the old guys didn’t buy in so he played young kids from the start. In year 3 at Baylor and Temple, Rhules investment into the youth of the program paid off.
Rhule did not do something similar at Nebraska. Instead he doubled down on the older guys and it is failing miserably.
Next year will be tough sledding. We have given a ton of snaps on the O Line, D Line, Linebacker and secondary over the last 2 years to guys who won’t be here next year.
Our hope for a good year 3, rests on major coaching upgrades, portal additions and some early contributors from this years recruiting class.
