I like Rhule personally BUT I'm not yet sold on him as the savior of Nebraska football. The thing that troubles me about Rhule is that his teams so far just don't seem to have the killer instinct follow through to finish it off in either individual games or during the second half of the season. So of course I hope he has a gangbusters third season and I'm going to cheer the team on BUT I'm still also gonna wait and see before I declare him a success. He needs to beat some teams ranked higher than Nebraska next year.Matt Rhule has officially saved Nebraska football.
Today was a rare performance by the offense in the end, they got the first down to ice the game. No fumble or int thrown. No 3 and out. May they take this success and move forwardI like Rhule personally BUT I'm not yet sold on him as the savior of Nebraska football. Thanks, I wasn't sure (for real). Some folks are clearly missing the sarcasm from the OP
We lost that killer instinct culture long before he got here and I believe he’s working hard to repair it. You can see so many positive changes. He’s moving us the right direction and doing it the right way. Hopefully he can be the guy because I think he’s a great face for our program. So Pelini was a savior?Has a bit more to do until consider him our savior.
Get me a couple 9+ wins a couple seasons in a row and we’re talking.
Just replying to recognize the epic troll attempt.Matt Rhule has officially saved Nebraska football.
Is that why Foley and Satt are still on staff? Our last 3 coaches made staff changes as well in a similar time frame. Pelini and Riley also progressed from year 1 to year 2.He's already done in 2 years what our last three coaches failed to do, which is probably why they failed. He removes coordinators and position coaches that aren't meeting the standard. He has also progressed from year 1-2 and from the looks of recruiting and the big one (talent holdover) year three will be far better.

What I like about HCMR is his willingness to make changes, when necessary, his effectiveness in recruiting, and his character as a person.Matt Rhule has officially saved Nebraska football.
I'm actually fine with this. But the pattern of staff changes under Rhule really isn't any different from what we've seen of previous head coaches.Satt is getting paid a year of OC money regardless. So NU can pay him out and pay another TE coach as well, or just overpay him to coach the TEs which he seems to be perfectly competent at.
