He seems nervous.a haircut + a collared shirt?
🤔
He seems nervous.
Well he should be.He seems nervous.
too bad.Head injury.
maybe they want to but are otherwise incapable?I didn’t understand his comment about WR blocking:
He basically said our WR want to run block and that it’s not a want to problem.
This makes no sense to me - run blocking for a receiver is not overly complex, and if our WR are consistently not getting it done, how can that be attributed to anything other than want to?
maybe they are quaker members or maybe the shakersmaybe they want to but are otherwise incapable?
you know - physically or mentally
could also be that run blocking is against some religion they subscribe to that we are not aware of
maybe Banks or Neyor were traumatized by a stock block at an early age.maybe they are quaker members or maybe the shakers
They can block guys in the back just fine.maybe Banks or Neyor were traumatized by a stock block at an early age.
you just never know.
Maybe it's because Satterfield calls so many pass plays, run blocking is the farthest thing from their mind.I didn’t understand his comment about WR blocking:

If that were the case you'd think they'd run better routes.Maybe it's because Satterfield calls so many pass plays, run blocking is the farthest thing from their mind.
Or they're just not taught properly.
Or both.
I posted this because last year when the going got tough (after our best player was injured), Rhule completely abandoned everything including his philosophical approach to the gamea haircut + a collared shirt?
🤔
As long as he doesn’t bring back the Fu Manchu.I posted this because last year when the going got tough (after our best player was injured), Rhule completely abandoned everything including his philosophical approach to the game
the result was a lot of inconsistency in everything from calling timeouts to when to settle for FGs and all of the stuff in between en route to an 0-4 finish
I hope this change in press conference garb is not signaling yet another one of these "searching" episodes
though it does worry me that he brought up the fact that there's no time for big philosophical discussions during game weeks - that's exactly something someone who's been wrestling with his own philosophical approach would say
exactly what I'm talking aboutAs long as he doesn’t bring back the Fu Manchu.
I find it dumbfounding that he has no control over his OC. Most head coaches handcuff their OC into doing it their way.exactly what I'm talking about
we hired this guy because of his apparent vision for the program
that vision, assuming it ever existed, appears to be blowing in the wind right along with his self confidence
He’s a Nice Guy.I find it dumbfounding that he has no control over his OC. Most head coaches handcuff their OC into doing it their way.
One would think, but then again look who's coaching the receivers. If that were the case you'd think they'd run better routes.
McGuire is the most inexplicable coaching hire by Rhule. One would think, but then again look who's coaching the receivers.
Two wrongs here don't make it right.
It would be nice for a change to get an opposing coach firedRhule looks like he's looking forward to Saturday about as much as I am. 😂
For the sake of all things Husker I hope we come out with a chip on our shoulder and give OSU our very best game.
A nepotism hire, plain and simple.McGuire is the most inexplicable coaching hire by Rhule.

It would be a great win, but I’m not sure it would change the long term outlook. What would a win over OSU do for your program? I know it sounds crazy....but you never know whats going on inside the heads of 21 or 22 year olds (other than on weekends).
Colorado took the pride away back in 2001 and we never got it back.Well that sure doesn’t look like a real confident coach ….
Did Indiana take what ever pride the program had left?
Steve Pederson took our pride away with his megalomaniac ideas.Colorado took the pride away back in 2001 and we never got it back.
It didn’t seem that way to me based on these 7 games. Too much inconsistency in amount played and performance. I doubt any one of the 4 I backs are pleased with performance.too bad.
seemed like he was poised for a big Year 5 breakout.
That’s not true in my opinion, Pelini and the teams last 2 years in the Big 12 there was a lot of pride. Then Wisconsin pummeled us a couple times in Big Ten play for me it’s been gone since then.Colorado took the pride away back in 2001 and we never got it back.
It would feel much better than last Saturday's beat down, that's for sure. What would a win over OSU do for your program? I know it sounds crazy....but you never know whats going on inside the heads of 21 or 22 year olds (other than on weekends).
Diddy is nothing compared to the guys he played for in collegeRhule acts like he knows Diddy is waiting for him in his office.
Are you serious? A win on the road against OSU wouldn't change your perception of our program? Doing that would accomplish so many apparently unattainable goals for our program. It would be a great win, but I’m not sure it would change the long term outlook.
