Here's my pick as a dark horse, Prior to being hired at Arkansas, he was the associate head coach and offensive line coach at the University of Georgia. Prior to his hiring at Arkansas, Sam Pittman spent almost his entire career, going back to the mid-1990s, as an offensive line coach at various college football programs. He also became known as one of the country’s top recruiters. Let's start looking at new and fresh blood, not retreads.

If the Iowa WR doesn’t inexplicably fall down on the 3 yard line, ISU likely loses. Even so, Iowa’s worst-in-the-nation offense still could have sent the game into overtime had they not missed the FG at the end.

Remember……last year was supposed to be Iowa States best team EVER. Loaded with seniors, pre-season Top 5. Campbell led them to a stellar 7-6 record.

You don’t want him. Nebraska can do better.

I’ve got no dog in this fight, but Matt Rhule should definitely be on the short list. I realize he’s only beaten one top ranked team and he’s failed miserably at Carolina. BUT, he had done something that Nebraska is looking for: he has twice ressurected programs in quick turnaround. Both Baylor and Temple. Baylor was amidst a scandal and Temple …….well, who ever wins there? Also, his assistant coaching years cover almost the entire game. I’m not saying he is the only one, but based on needs, I would strongly give him consideration.
