Manuel Allen flips to Louisville per TOS

Jalen Hall.

Actually I have no idea, but that would be nice pick up!

When does Keith Williams get to be criticized? If this was the current O-Line or RB coach with this track record there would be riots.

WRs are the biggest primadonnas in football. IMO this is a kid that sees the writing on the wall that playing time may be hard to come by. Hopefully coaches make him realize lamar Jackson isn't going to be there to throw the ball to him.

how would playing time be hard to come by, we will be razor thin at WR next year?

What track record is that? Three 4-star recruits last year (one was once a 5-star) and two 4-star commits so far this year. Seems pretty darn good to me.
Grimm, Allen, KJJ, Calvin, Fuller. Like I said, if this was the RB or O-Line coach had this many de-commits, you would be freaking out. Prima donna position or not. You would say crap like they are lazy and don't have good enough, or keep good enough relationships with their recruits. That's a fact. And yes I realize KJJ and Grimm were not de-commits. But he has had plenty of misses. And if any other position had guys leaving when it is already short-handed, there would be massive freak outs.

He's still bringing in big time players and is a heck of a position coach. That is a Fact. Would you be happier if he signed two stars and never had a decomit?

Lol. Yup, that's exactly what I said.

Grimm and KJJ were here, them not being with the program has nothing to do with KW. Fuller likely won't play college football. That leaves the flakiest recruit it the world with Calvin and Allen. I don't know, seems like a reach. How about getting a decommit to re-commit. How often do you see that???

I haven't seen any of his film, but he was highly rated. Seem to remember one analyst saying he has high potential, but isn't polished.

So what are you saying? His "track record" isn't good because of the decomits? He still brought in three 4-star commits last year and still has two more committed this year. And I would say it's a safe bet we fill this spot with a good WR.

3 times last year, with the same kid who also signed somewhere else on signing day. Kids flake all the time. My point here is if this were a certain other position coaches, the reaction would be way different.

No. Try and keep up. I am saying that he would be getting roasted if he was the current RB or OLine coach.

I disagree with the other position coaches comment, simply because those guys aren't bringing in the type of players KW is. If Davis brought in multiple 4-stars every year, people would probably cut him a lot more slack if he lost a commit than they would right now.

Since no one answered my question, just one senior scholarship WR.

Morgan
Williams
Spielman
Lindsey
McQuitty
Reimers
Rhan
Warner
Young

Moore
Brown

KJJ maybe.

Chase Williams.

You'll be singing a different tune when we replace Allen with a 5* and add another 4*. Smokin

They have to recruit at a KW level before we make that assessment. I mean Cav recruits well, and misses some like the big kid that went to Stanford (can't remember the name), but there was no freak out. Davis catches flack because he just doesn't appear to be an aggressive recruiter period.

Better now than on signing day. I had high hopes for Allen as a prospect, but he has not really produced at the high school level as of yet. Very little good film on him, and I believe he may have lost his spot at Centennial which spurred a transfer to another Corona area high school.

I think we can rebound from this with another prospect with at least the same potential. May want to keep an eye on Jalen Hall now, as I have heard for whatever reasons that USC is not an option for him now.

Ok. It has been decided. Keith Williams cannot be questioned or held to the same expectations of others.

I just wish someone would run down who can do what so I am not confused.

And If my aunt has balls she'd be my uncle. KW has more than pulled his weight.

Bush (TX) and Crocker (CA) both have officials already set up to Nebraska and both have higher ceilings than Allen

You enjoy being confused.

Give it a break. He is not only held to the same expectations, recruiting wise, he is blowing everyone else away (minus Donte Williams). Not sure why KW gets your panties in a bunch, but there isn't some crazy double standard that only you can see.

Back in the topic of Manny Allen. This is now the third school he has committed to and he hasn't even visited Louisville yet. Plus he has been tweeting all kinds of Nebraska stuff the last two weeks before this decomit. A very strange situation for sure.

only thing about his decommitment that bummed me out was that Bookie liked the tweet ...other than that the Parsons OV announcement was enough to balance out the disappointment

Why do you want everyone to live in some hypothetical universe where KW is not one of, if not, the best WR coach in the country?? He is bringing in top tier talent and is respected in his ability to coach ( has multiple NFL WR come to Lincoln Nebraska during the offseason just to train with him)??

Guy is bringing 5 & 4 star talent to a school who has NEVER had success putting wideouts in the league and most recently, these kids have watched T-Mart and TA "quarterback" this school since they were 10 years old. Imagine what this man will do next year when he can physically put on tape someone like Tanner Lee throwing darts in this system. He has down this by reputation and getting kids to trust in the future. Could be downright scary!!
