Everyone with a brain knew we were a paper tiger. We played one decently tough team and lost, then got absolutely crushed by the first good team we played.
FSU was exactly that last year. One decent game against a typical power, then a bunch of squeakers against shitters.

FSU was legitimately a great team last year. They lost like 90% of their team though.
They lost a ton of talent butā¦ their (Prison Mikeās) inability to replace some/any of that talent is astonishing. Astonishing in a bad way, a really really bad wayā¦

Perhaps Florida State should have spent more time building their football program and less time trying to get out of the ACC.

Phil Steele said they returned 5 starters on offense and 5 on defense including DJU. If you don't count him it's 1-9/22 = 59% lost.
Norville could actually become the first coach to ever win every game in the regular season one year, and then lose every game in the regular season the following year.
