Not sure if this had been posted or discussed yet, but what a breath of fresh, real air. No fluff: ‘You know where I’m going today? I’m going to go and recruit a kid that can compete with you and beat you out.’

I think what I love the most so far about this staff is the openness and directness with which they interact with the current members of the team. There seems to be a very open and frank way of communicating, not as a means to beat a kid down, but in hopes of encouraging or motivating him. I love the way Fisher explained telling Lamar Jackson he’s no where near the NFL at this point, but let’s get there together.
