I can only imagine what Bo what have said to the poor kid. He would have been able to tell what flavor bubble gum Bo was chewing he would have gotten in his face so much.
Has a punter ever practiced that play? I can look the other way on this, feeling pretty confident that something like this had never happened to him. Heads up play would be to go after it. But I can't blame him too much for not thinking about doing that.

From watching them in warmups, I would say that Armstrong doesn't have near the leg or hang time than CL has. Would he be more consistent? Maybe but I would expect to see more returns with him punting.
He clearly was not ready for the limelight and thought he was going to redshirt. He probably should have. He'll get better. He's got a big leg and I bet the rest will come with experience.
I recall even Sam having some real clunkers on punts early in his career. It seems to me that I remember him shanking about every 5th or 6th punt when he started out. I expected to struggle punting the ball this year when Sam went down. No matter who tried to replace Sam, there was going to be a tremendous amount of pressure on him to fill Sam's shoes.
He's over thinking things for sure. I think that he's thinking about the rush, too, cuz our st coach has a crap blocking scheme.
