2026 Valencia (Cali.) four-star RB Brian Bonner is down to five programs: Washington, UCLA, Notre Dame, Penn State and Nebraska.

As I wrote a few weeks ago, I don't see Nebraska winning this recruitment, I think the Huskies, Fighting Irish and Bruins have a leg up on the pack. There's more familiarity with those three programs. I do think it's notable Nebraska made the cut and Michigan, a top contender to this point, didn't. Nebraska has had him on campus twice, but haven't gotten him in town this calendar year. Nebraska is running, at best, fourth but are in line to get him in town for an official visit this summer and very well could surge with a strong visit experience.

He rushed for 1,493 yards and 25 touchdowns as a junior, averaging over 7.5 yards per carry. He also totaled 40 catches for 498 yards and 4 touchdowns, to go with 443 kick return yards. Has put up multiple sub.11 100-meter times standing a shade over 6-foot and 185ish pounds.
