I mean there is a difference between one accuser and dozens and widespread systemic issues running rampant through a department the guy was in charge of. Better comparison would be the Penn State situation- knowing and doing nothing. Or Catholic situation- shuffle offenders off to another religious locale.

How do you know if a rumor is true or false when you don't even have an accuser willing to come forward?
