They have more than 80,000 undergrads...and around 15,000 on campus. The University of Tulsa meanwhile has 4,600 total undergrads.

Student population size doesn't matter tremendously other than the fact that those people graduate and then become donors.

They have some real wacko views on the world and their curriculum boarders on batshat crazy

I'm an online student there, have visited the campus, will graduate in July and can promise you it is not "batshat". If you consider putting Christ first in every aspect of your life first so that you may glorify Him in all your actions and in the work place, then I must confess to being "batshat crazy". That is LU's mission statement and they live by it....

Congratulations. Unfortunately for our country, most Americans seem to consider Christians to be batshat crazy. Imagine what a place this could be if all citizens followed the love and forgiveness taught by Jesus. What is interesting is that Muslims recognize the Law found in the Torah and the Christian Old Testament but somewhere along the line their prophet Mohammed forgot the part about "thou shalt not kill".

Hillary wins the popular vote, and Christians are bat shit crazy. Fantastic. Makes me all warm and fizzy inside just thinking about how jad s.

If there was a dislike button I'd hit it about a hundred times, yeah I know it would only register once but it would make me feel better.

Seems to be a smart financial decision. Schools are not getting credit for playing FCS schools so now they can schedule Liberty for the easy win, Liberty can collect the big sacrificial game checks.

When you understand how Muslims got their beginnings as Abraham's son, Ishmael, who was forced to leave with his mother Hagar, into the desert and nearly died, this is probably the start of the dislike between the Jews and Muslims. "And as for Ishmael, I have heard you: I will surely bless him; I will make him fruitful and will greatly increase his numbers. He will be the father of twelve rulers, and I will make him into a great nation. Gen 17:20. If you continue to read you will see the temperament of Ishmael.

that wild man, hand against everyone and vice versa, verse sure seems to match.

Isaac and Ishmael is also a fantastic West Wing episode

Great institution and football team. Kid from Norfolk plays there. Looks like a sweet stadium. Gill is on the up and up there.

Thanks buddy! I have logic and reason on my side ..I am set
I guess the point is it didn't need to get to this point. Sad that it did... don't argue politics or religion, but you brought it in.

Let this be about Liberty athletics and that's it.

Well... was Noah's flood global or local? Still waiting on an answer.

Global. Here are some thoughts to consider. Man was created to live forever in a perfect environment where life was good, never intended to die. Of course, he had the problem with his will which led to sin which led to a separation from God. Back to the earth. The earth was likely covered in a canopy much like a terrarium in that it naturally watered itself. A perfect environment. As such, it never rained, didn't need to. When Noah was warning about rain, the people had no clue what he was talking about. Think about how long it took Noah to build the ark and all of the opportunities man had to ask what was going on. Man was so sinful that God cleaned the face of the earth which begs the question how bad he must have been compared to today. Any mater, man condemned himself by his disobedience and still does today. Also remember that the flood was not just from rain it was from the ground waters swelling and coming up from below. This completely changed the face of the earth and of course the earth now had seasonal weather. You can chose to believe whatever you want, free world.

What are you graduating in? How to act like you are Christian by not following Christ's example?

The problem is that most Christians don't follow Christ

Can't tell if serious. Let me ask you a question, are the meds working? If so, can I get some?

And so it begins... Newbie decides to troll anybody that professes faith in Christ.

I give this thread a few more posts at best before it gets shut down, which is unfortunate, considering it was about a football program making the leap to FBS...

Ezekial 23:19-20

Yet she increased her prostitution, remembering the days of her youth when she engaged in prostitution in the land of Egypt. She lusted after their genitals as large as those of donkeys, and their seminal emission was as strong as that of stallions.

I've got no problem with people who profess their faith in Christ, just hipocritical people who don't follow his teachings.

I think everyone has some hypocrisy in them. Atheists, christians, ...whoever. Nobody is ever perfectly consistent with the guiding principles of his/her life. Christ's teachings are demanding. I have failed to live up to them many times. Thankfully, God is more merciful than you seem to be.

I am assuming that since hypocrisy offends you so deeply that you are perfectly consistent with your own guiding principles?

I envy you.

So Liberty going full D1, good for the school and the program. They will take their lumps being an independent early on. Would not mind seeing Nebraska play them a few times and some in different sports as well.
