Keyan Williams leaving the program.

Keyan was looking at third string at best come fall. Per Parker G's article, he's moving on for more playing time. Mid-major, FCS?

Hasn't his dad been saying some pretty awesome things about the new staff recently? Kind of shocking that he is leaving now. Best of luck to him in his search.

It's called controlling the message. By complimenting the staff ahead of time you remove any rumors of bad blood and put the kid in the best light possible. I have no doubt that they appreciate our staff's honesty in conveying where he stands regarding future playing time. It appears obvious that his best bet to play is to transfer. Good luck to him. Package deal with pops maybe?

I think it was less about the program and more about how insanely stacked we are at WR now and will be even more so come summer. He knows he's a decent receiver but would have been third string most likely, so now with his dad being gone and the staff being new, he probably figured well, I'll go try to get more of a starring role somewhere else.

I am thankful for having Frost here. But now he’s at your place. If you think our program will fall off a cliff then you are just ignorant about UCF football. And I think if you think he will do for your program what he did for ours in two years you are kidding yourself. Your program is a good 4 years from winning the B1G let alone going undefeated. I do wish you guys well. Objectively, I just think it will take that coach a few years. In fact, it’s probably a crap shoot whether he wins the B1G or gets fired in his first four years. Your place does have a history of firing coaches before they have had a chance to build anything.

On a more positive note, I will be following your team this year for the first time in a long long time.

PS. If you are wondering why I’m here, you can thank Black Shirts and all the other Nebraska trolls for trashing our board.

TL;DR

NU fired those coaches because they were poor fits in the first place or they were crappy college coaches, NOT because NU didn't give them enough time.

By your own observation, you haven't followed our team "for a long, long time" (comma added}. So, how would you know in the first place if they weren't given enough time?

By the way, you forgot to add your crap doesn't stink.

First, no I’m not triggered. I will admit I don’t follow your football program closely so I wouldn’t know if you hired crap coaches or not. But that is on your athletics director and big donors. I do know your athletics director has made either poor choices to run your football program or hasn’t given them the resources or time to compete with Wisconsin let alone Ohio State. But now your savior is home. The hole situation with UCF, Nebraska and Scott Frost reminds me of the ole ball coach Steve Spurrier, Duke and Florida. And, I am one of the few UCF alums that understands that loyalty. My only complaint is Frost should have waited until the season was over before making a decision. Nebraska would have waited if they really thought he was the chosen one to return you guys back to national prominence. We are very lucky UCF had NFL talent all over the field and they could handle the exit of their coach while also getting ready to give Auburn a complete smack down.

Anyway, I enjoyed my visit to your board. Thank you for not banning me.

Has anyone heard of UCF before Frost got there? I know I sure had not. We do not care if you folllow our team or not, A UCF fan's opinion on NU football or actually anything it takes to win a P5 conference title is also just not based in reality.

Fans of real football schools relish the opportunity to talk football with other fan bases. Your fan base however still acts like it's high school football. The continual " look at us and what we did" attitude just highlights that you are really not a program ready to join a P5 conference. I say these things not to piss off the UCF fan base but to help you guys understand how to conduct yourselves around traditional college football programs

I wasn't aware that so many grapes are grown in florida for there to be so many sour ones. I would think the climate would be too humid and too much rainfall, but a lot of ucf fans seem to come here with so many sorry attempts at implying they will be in the nc hunt every year REGARDLESS of who their coach may be.

85. But more to come.

86 until Brokup is official. Callahan has removed everyone pretty quickly, already has Williams off the list, but still has Brokup.
Yeah, I don't think that Brokop has been made official yet. I expect we will see a couple more too since I think that Vedral has been released by UCF and will go on scholarship this summer. I haven't seen anything official on that either, but has been hinted at by some.

So you’re this months’ designated prick UCF poster sent over here to counter the Nebraska jerks on your site?

Yay.

Like I said, you’re not breaking any new ground. Just a new name. Rinse recycle repeat.

Would be interested in your take on how we shake out, scolly wise and how Frost fills the roster. You are good at that kind of take Tuco. Obviously, there is a plan here and I have no idea how the depth chart sits, long-term...

Brokop may not be official but they were talking about it on Sports Nightly tonight as if it is.

I may very well have been made official in the last day or two. I haven't been around much the last couple days.

I’ll have to confirm with my notes when I get to work tomorrow. I think we lose another 4 or 5 here in the next week or 2. I originally predicted 10 would leave. So far I think it is unofficially at 4, POB, Miles, Williams and Brokup.

I am about 90% sure that Vedral and Moses Bryant will be on scholarship this summer or at the latest this fall.

If I had to guess right now, I think we will be at about 82 or 83, then 2 or 3 walk on scholarships will be awarded for one year.

Then the following year we lose 15, plus the walk ons, plus 3 oversigning, and further attrition, I think the number gets to 22. As of right now.

Christ that's a lot of work Tuco.

Well done.

Keep me abreast of recruiting areas of need, as well. Thin here, better there. Where we need bodies.

Thanks.
