I believe that was directed at in-state recruits specifically.
Which means to me: I’ll give you an evaluation bump if you’re bringing the hard-working in-state pride, but that goes away if you choose to go play somewhere else. Which I was fine with. But with the 105 limit, there’s less ability to do that.
Not sure why the 105 changes his stance?
Personally idc one or another if a player spurned you and left. In most of these portal cases it's relationships recruiters made BUT the kid liked someone else better initially. Then when things go bad they feel comfortable with a previous relationship and double back. There is a reason even when u lose a commit now it's best to at least keep it amicable.
If everything was still "ok" when a guy leaves and he wants to come back it wouldn't bother me. If he could help the team win is all I'd care about. Don't let ya pride get in the way of winning lol.
