They lost to Oklahoma State. The very same Oklahoma State that was embarrassed by a Sunbelt team.

Husker fans who wanted Leipold as our head coach (though probably not many), still think he'd be the man at Nebraska?

Lateral move, at best. Nothing to really indicate whether he'd be better or worse or about the same, if we're being objective.

i think he'd be good, but his age is worrying.

nothing to indicate he'd recruit at a high enough level, but the fact he has Kansas at 5-2 with a backup QB is impressive no matter how you spin it. Could he run a gauntlet of teams like Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan, Washington, USC, Oregon? Probably not, i'd have more faith in Klieman to do that.

Oklahoma State had a bad start to the season, but they've rebounded with wins against K-State and Kansas, not an awful loss considering the context.

a lot of leipold's talent came from the prior coach's recruiting, including both quarterbacks and their running back.

oSu took too long to settle on a qb. when they did and started running the ball, they got better quickly.

squawks don't have an easy road to sixth win. maybe their last v. cinncinati. more likely N ends up playing oSu if a b12 matchup.

Well they are Kansas. They have a clear ceiling, but Leopold has done a great job getting them back to respectability

I think he would do alright, consider that he took over a Kansas team that on paper was worse talent wise than what Rhule took over with at Nebraska. Maybe it would still be a 3-3 season for the Huskers with him coaching, hard for either to raise the titanic that is Husker Football.

yeah he would do a competent job at Nebraska. Don't know if he would take us to the playoff, but few coaches will. Hopefully Rhule is one of the few.
