The Huskers are waiting for the transfer portal to find potential immediate help for the wide receiver group next season. Hutchinson CC wide receiver Tre Richardson announced on Monday that he was offered by the team. Richardson told me that he got the offer from Omar Hales.

"It felt good to see the hard work finally paying off," Richardson said.

Richardson and Nebraska are trying to find the right date for him to come visit campus. The Huskers have four home games left so there is opportunity. Especially later in the season once JUCO seasons are over.

I'm looking forward to seeing the campus, meeting coaches and some players. Plus seeing the facilities," Richardson said.

The Huskers are the second Power Five team to offer him joining Washington State so far. He's a full qualifier and can join his next team in January. The wideout is also a dynamic return man with a pair punt returns for TDs and a kickoff return for a TD this season.

"I'm looking for a good communicating coaching staff, good environment and fan base," Richardson said. "Also a place where I can play right off the bat and lastly a good sports management/business school."
