- You might notice that 2025 Lee's Summit (Mo.) North three-star defensive lineman Ka'Mori Moore isn't listed on the weekend visitor list. The Oklahoma decommit could sneak into town with Isaiah Mozee and some of his teammates that are expected in town, but as things stand, this matches our reporting on his recruitment the past few weeks. Iowa State has taken control of his recruitment since he backed off his pledge to the Sooners and made him feel like a priority. Cyclones have already had him on campus and are making more of an effort than Nebraska is. Said it before and I'll say it again, if Nebraska wants to, they can absolutely win this recruitment, I just haven't seen the effort from the staff in this one and with Malcolm Simpson's recruitment seemingly shut down now, Nebraska seems fine standing pat on the commits they have
- As we reported yesterday, 2025 Kentucky four-star safety commit Martels Carter Jr. is engaged in dialogue with Nebraska's staff as the Huskers sniff around a potential flip opportunity with the Kentucky native, but a visit will not happen this weekend unless the four-star and his family miraculously find a last-minute flight out to Lincoln or Omaha. A visit could happen later this month for the Wisconsin game, and dependent on how real a flip is, the staff could also fly out to him during the bye next week.
- 2026 Norman (Okla.) North three-star wide receiver Mason James will visit Nebraska this weekend. Hometown Oklahoma is the favorite in his recruitment, with the likes of Texas A&M, Michigan, Baylor and Alabama among others at or near the top of his list. Huskers have an opportunity to vault into that top group and earn some staying power this weekend.
2026 Blue Valley (Kan.) Northwest kicker Trace Rudd is a notable regional target set to visit. He's in weekly communication in the staff, has interest from Kansas, Kansas State and Oklahoma, among others. He's a left-footed kicker and a five-star per Kohls kicking camp
- If you recall, this summer when I wrote about Nebraska offering 2026 Waxahachie (Tex.) four-star wide receiver Kohen Brown, I noted that he described the offer from the Huskers as a dream offer. He has family ties to the program and has visited in the past, prior to being offered, so he's familiar with game day in Memorial Stadium. He's had a productive junior year for Waxahachie (Tex.), catching passes from 2027 quarterback Jerry Meyer III, who was offered by Nebraska as well this season.
