didn't want to work for Rhule/Satt
likely not a decision he's regretting
likely not a decision he's regretting
he's the Seahawks's Passing Game CoordinatorWhat is Peetz current role/title? His offense at LSU was pretty bad the season he was their OC.
I remember Peetz was supposed to be on board as QB Coach. But he has a bunch of kids and was weary of all the time on the road recruiting. So he said he would come if Mickey stuck around, because they were close and he and Mickey had a deal where Mickey would do the heavy lifting recruiting.
Yeah, or it was because he thought staying on with McVay another year was better than taking a QB coach position at the college level. He got NFL OC interviews a year later. Seems like he made the right call.didn't want to work for Rhule/Satt
His wife wouldn’t move to Nebraska. It wasn’t because he wouldn’t work for Rhule and he’s not Seattle’s OC or play caller.didn't want to work for Rhule/Satt
likely not a decision he's regretting
Wrong on both accounts. Pretty typical of you. First of all his wife didn’t want to move because of the kids situation.and second he is not calling plays so he is not on control of any play calling.didn't want to work for Rhule/Satt
likely not a decision he's regretting
So you think he’s regretting his decision?Wrong on both accounts. Pretty typical of you. First of all his wife didn’t want to move because of the kids situation.and second he is not calling plays so he is not on control of any play calling.
It sounds like they moved anyway?Wrong on both accounts. Pretty typical of you. First of all his wife didn’t want to move because of the kids situation.and second he is not calling plays so he is not on control of any play calling.
She didn’t want to leave the west coast. It sounds like they moved anyway?
So you think he’s regretting his decision?
And that the passing game coordinator has nothing to do with the passing game?
Pretty typical of you.
I don’t know how it works in other households, but when there’s an opportunity we perceive as a vertical move that’s best for our family, my wife gets on board. She didn’t want to leave the west coast.
It was in fact a horizontal move professionally but he wanted to come back and I believe he viewed working for Rhule as a step to become a head coach. You’re spinning the situation for what end I’m not sure.I don’t know how it works in other households, but when there’s an opportunity we perceive as a vertical move that’s best for our family, my wife gets on board.
This was obviously not that for the Peetzes.
if he wanted to, he would have.It was in fact a horizontal move professionally but he wanted to come back and I believe he viewed working for Rhule as a step to become a head coach. You’re spinning the situation for what end I’m not sure.
yep.It sounds like they moved anyway?
There is that about working for McVay but yet he’s still not an OC. He’s not calling plays so crediting him for Seattle’s offensive production seems like a stretch. You’re saying he decided he didn’t want to work for Rhule and that simply wasn’t true. Hindsight might be correct that he was better off staying where he was at but that’s a different point.if he wanted to, he would have.
he didn't.
working for Rhule isn't a step toward being a head coach (I don't believe he's ever produced a D1 head coach from his staff), it's a step toward being laughed out of football entirely.
there's no faster route (literally) to becoming a coach of consequence than working for Sean McVay.
You’re doung some amazing double twisting front flips in this thread😉yep.
the mental gymnastics at work in this thread are Olympic-level.
he had an opportunity to work for Rhule and said "thanks but no thanks".You’re saying he decided he didn’t want to work for Rhule and that simply wasn’t true.
You characterize it any way you want. You clearly have an agenda.he had an opportunity to work for Rhule and said "thanks but no thanks".
not really sure how else that decision can possibly categorized.
when somebody turns down a job, they're making a decision not to work for the person trying to hire them. You characterize it any way you want. You clearly have an agenda.
I turned down a job my first year out of professional school because of my family situation. I had interned with a group and a few months after I started a job elsewhere the group I had interned with offered me a full partnership with no buy in. In 2 months as an intern I had made them so much money that they were willing to do that. The timing was just wrong with my wife’s situation.when somebody turns down a job, they're making a decision not to work for the person trying to hire them.
Fran Brown at Syracuse?if he wanted to, he would have.
he didn't.

this is exactly what I'm talking aboutI turned down a job my first year out of professional school because of my family situation. You’re trying to put as negative of a light on Rhule as you can.
