Look he is in Florida in a recruiting Hot Bed getting established. He has a good shot to take UCF to a very good bowl game and win. He will be one of the hottest coaching prospects after this. The Florida Gaytors suck and they will probably retain their coach one more year and fire him next year. Im sure with Frost being in Florida he could get that job which is MUCH BETTER than Nebraska. It's all about RECRUITING. Also if Frost wants to bolt after this year, why not take Tennessee? He will NOT recruit as good at Nebraska as he could if he was at Florida or another major program.

He wanted to be in the NFL as a QB and Bill Walsh was there. Plus their academics are heads and shoulders above everyone else. Sounds like an opportunity that was hard to pass up especially when he would be sitting behind Frazier and Berringer until he was a Senior.

Frost isn't going to Nebraska. Why would he? Nebraska should have hired him when they had a chance before Riley, now he's happy and isn't going anywhere until a much better offer than Nebraska comes up.
If Nebraska offers, you know he will take it. Just like any UCF coach ever.
A chance to play for Bill Walsh and with his brother at one of the best schools in the country is nothing to sneeze at. I always thought Frost made the correct call by going to Stanford.

You just hired an AD away from his alma mater. As you probably know by now, your alma mater doesn't mean a whole lot.
All that matters is how quickly you can win a national championship. If you can sell that to a prospective coach, you are in good shape.
We want to know how fast the coach can win the conference first and how long before he will he able to take this division regularly. Resources for everything is here. We need a coach that will bring in a staff that wants that.
And if the AD said exactly that he would never come. He wants national championships. (and yes, I agree that you would think I would have no way of knowing that).

UCF fans are realists. They know he is gone this year or next. No need to worry about that.

I'm not worried about Florida. If he chooses Florida I have faith in the AD we hired to find someone who is a fit and will make us competitive again.
UCF is closer to a P5 invite than Nebraska is to winning the BIG10, which is what it will take to win a NC there. The future is brighter at UCF, I understand why you wouldn't get that or even why you wouldn't want to believe it-it's not in your best interest. The growth of UCF is exponential, UN is flat at best. If you read what's important to Frost all the boxes are checked where he's at. It would be a step back to Nebraska. I see him going to UF, UCLA, USC etc in a couple years. Everyone here is wasting their time looking at him, but that's your prerogative. No trolling here, best of luck!

If you aren't trolling, you just aren't very smart. You honestly think UCF is a better job than Nebraska? One of the top 10 programs of all time, that sells out every game and can pay their coach 4x as much, isn't as good of a job as a team in the American that can only fill half their HS stadium.
