Raoe issue? You're not the sharpest tool in the shed but you are certainly a tool.I'm sure Riley will take the Osborn route concerning the raoe issue. Ignore it until season is over.

Just like a herky, hoping that some girl got raped so they don't have to play our best. No one knows anything except for the girl, the alleged rapist and the cops. So piss off.
I am leaning that way as well. Not just because Im a Nebraska fan, but because I have followed them and watched many of their games. If you look at their stats they are very very similar to ours and we are a 5-6 team. That should tell you all you need to know. 11-0 team should be far better on paper than us and they aren't at all.
They best teams they have played have been Wisc and NW. The only difference between them and us is they have had breaks go their way and we haven't.
The number I was referring to were from the stat page of ncaa.com. Yes Iowa leads most stats, but not by crazy numbers. Not by numbers that should normally separate a undefeated #3 team vs a 5-6 team.Other than scoring differential, turnover differential, penalties against, rushing offense, pass defense and total defense, those stats are REALLY close. Whatever "paper" you're looking at, you need to look at it again.
And I'd like to know what "breaks" need to go your way to beat a 9-2 team by 30 in their place. Maybe it was a blessing that we had 6 or 7 starters out due to injury? We caught a "break" when our offense shoved the ball down their throats repeatedly for 60 minutes?
Look, I'm prepared for it to be a close game. But come on, stop making crap up to make a point. At least TRY to be objective.
Agree Im not saying Iowa isn't a top 25 team. They play solid football. For many of their fans thinking they are this championship quality team worthy of playing for a championship is silly. Any team in the top 10 would probably beat them by double digits.one of the biggest stat differences is turnovers. Iowa leads the league in interceptions on defense and has thrown the fewest, where Nebraska is 13th in Int's on D and thrown the 2nd most. If this trend continues Iowa wins, if Neb fixes this it will be a very tight game that will go either way. Iowa does not beat themselves.
At the very least, the forced rivalry now has some validity. And levity.Win or lose I will be glad when this week is over. I have never read so much BS in my life from both sides.
How many my dad can kick your dad`s ass posts do we need?
the number of Husker fans talking trash in this thread is kind of goofy. Sorry guys but we're 5-6. Maybe we as a community should wait to pound our chests until we actually win the game. At that point, we'll have something to crow about. Right now, there's a lot of dudes on here who remind me of Missouri or Colorado fans in the 1990's.
We're freaking 5-6. I'm as encouraged as anybody by the win over Michigan State, but I think a lot of you are ignoring the fact that Tommy kindof played like crap against Rutgers. I'd be quite a bit more heartened if he hadn't have thrown six interceptions in his last 3 games. People just look silly talking about how Iowa isn't really that good (which, by the way undercuts us if we actually beat them) when all that team has done is win.
Iowa hasn't played anyone close to Nebraska. Iowa loses to...
BYU- Healthy QB beats Iowa convincingly.
Miami- Talented headcase of a team out athletes the Hawkeyes.
Michigan State- Iowa's gonna get smoked by Sparty.
Simply put Iowa's schedule hasn't prepared them for the Huskers.
Your right we haven't played anyone close to kNebraska. But lets take a look shall we.
Iowa beat Wisconsin 10-6. kNebraska lost to Wisconsin 23-21.
Iowa beat Northwestern 40-10. kNebraska lost to Northwestern 30-28.
Iowa beat Illianois 29-20. kNebraska lost to Illinois 14-13.
Iowa beat Purdue 40-20. kNebraska lost to Purdue 55-45.
Yep, your right. My God you guys are idiots.
