Actually, he is sixth on the team in rebounds and third in blocks. You would think he’d be leading in those two categories. I disagree with Fred on a lot of things, but not playing Meah is not one of them. Really offers nothing. Horrible pick up by Fred.

Brice Williams was anything but clutch in the final 4 minutes of the game. I watched the game and was yelling at the screen to not give him the ball. He was choking badly... He is a 91% free throw shooter and he clanked two and the next posession down the court he air balled a 10 footer and missed by 2 foot. It was really really bad.
I will admit he made up for it in OT, but that game should not of even made it to OT if he actually played well in the first 40. He also was great to end the first half too, ut he needs to be more consistent plain and simple.
Lunardi still has us as the 6th Team Out. If we could somehow beat Oregon on the road, we'd still have a shot at the Big Dance. The remaining schedule gets a lot easier after Sunday. If we can win 7 of the last 10 I think we can get in.
We're just extremely fortunate Illinois shot terrible. Maybe it was defense as it will be spun but there was a ton of open misses on their part.

He’s getting no help at all. With Sam and Rollie in the game, it’s like 3 on 5. The D can just focus entirely on Brice. FH did a very poor job capitalizing on getting to the dance last year. Where the hell are the dudes and shooters???
Essegian, Griffiths, and Janowski were supposed to be the shooters. The latter two were clearly not ready. Losing Mast to injury was the biggest blow, we are a different team with his presence inside.

If I were Williams and Gary, I would be extremely pissed on who Fred brought in. Absolutely a horrible transfer haul. Freshman aren’t much better.
I am not arguing with you that someone else needs to step up, but those two missed free throws and the 10 footer air ball was all Williams. Nothing to do with the rest of the team... not to mention somehiw he always manages to slip and fall late in games. We need him to be consistent and he is the exact opposite

Oregon is one of 2, maybe 3 games left that they can afford to lose. It would also help if UCLA, Illinois, and Creighton stayed as Quad 1 wins. Oregon State could also sneak in as a Quad 1 win.
My gut says NU is going to rue blowing the 15 point second half lead at Iowa, and letting BOTH USC and Rutgers steal wins in Lincoln.
9-11 will get Nebraska in IMO, but probably last 4 in
