OK. This was his opinion.

So it was super close and he thought Allen made it, the ruling on the field was short, which stood. What exactly is the "truth" you think Chiefs fans won't accept? That some people disagreed with a super close spot on that play?
There were still 12 minutes left and the Bills led. They lost because they failed to convert at the end of the game like they always do. If the roles were reversed, the Chiefs would have marched down the field to win that game, like they always do.

No reasonable person could dispute it.... if it had been called a first down. It was close and if I were a Bills fan I'd have wanted it to...

I'm not saying the Bills would have won. They had their chances after that blown call. All im saying is every Chiefs game their is a big missed call. The only issue is it always goes in the Chiefs favor. The entire country sees it. It's not a good look for the refs and the NFL. Needs cleaned up. Maybe they will start calling the games 50-50 after the Chiefs get their 3 peat. And Pfizer boy and Tay Tay go away way.
There is no way that falls under the category of a "blown call". Blandino is saying it was super close and he thought he made it live. It is a 50/50 call you wanted to go the other way, because of who you were rooting for, not a blown call.
It was one play, it didn't take any points off the board, it wasn't the last time the Bills touched the ball, they still had what...40 yards to go for a TD?? who knows how McDermott would have out smarted himself in that span...Josh had been tossing near picks all game...everyone is just assuming Bills score a TD there. Who knows how it would have played out after that....and again, it was one play, the rest of the game was called pretty great, and they missed calls that could have gone against the bills as well, several. Just sounds like white noise at this point..fans take one play that could have gone either way and jump off the deep end.

Agreed. I’m not a Chiefs fan and was rooting for the Bills but it gets old seeing other fans whine about them. Bills had plenty of chances to beat them (every play, really) and didn’t. People hate a dynasty unless it’s their team.
I'm not defending anything. I am pushing back against the notion that KC is winning because of a call like this. If that 50/50 call goes the other way, there would be no outrage, because KC would still win. Let's be real this spot is about as 50/50 as it gets, it's not like the spot in the OSU game that was 2 yards off.
Josh Allen and Buffalo had the game in their hands, all they had to do was march down the field and score and they couldn't do it. You assume everything turns out differently with a first down there, but I don't because I've seen this movie before. Allen and Buffalo fail to convert (just like last year, and three of the past four years against KC).

LULZ on the conspiracy. But I'm all for the chip in the ball, I've said that for years. I also think it would be great to have the yellow line we see on TV on the field for the players to see, surely they have the technology.
But we can keep changing the rules every time Allen and the Bills lose, and it isn't going to keep them from losing. Because that is not why they keep losing.

They changed the rules after the 13-second game (which is fine). Because that's why the Bills lost; not because they kicked it into the endzone and couldn't cover for 13 seconds. Now maybe they will change the rules again (which is fine). Because that's why the bills lost, not because the couldn't score with the game on the line.
It seems like the Bills, and especially Josh Allen, get a pass like no one else. If a guy like Brock Purdy played like Allen down the stretch people would be all over him. If a coach like Mike McDaniel got outcoached the way McDermott did, people would be calling for his head. But with the Bills we should change the rules. I don't really care, just think it's interesting.

The problem with that argument is it can go both ways. Take a big play away from the Chiefs, now speculate what happens. On this play, Allen could have thrown a bomb for a TD on the next play. The old, it’s just one play is not valid. Anyone can play this game of what if.
Yep . I am surprised this is the first post on this . The 4th down was a big pile and the ball as never visible. But I thought the 3rd down was pretty obvious
Blandino actually provided a reasonable response. His opinion was that Allen made the line to gain. No problem. He didn’t exaggerate and claim Allen “Clearly” made it. He didn’t suggest that the officials conspired to favor the Chiefs. He didn’t suggest that the NFL is placating Taylor Swift fans. He said he thought Allen made it. He said it was close - he wondered, like all of us, why the officials decided to go with one spot over the other. He also suggested that once a call was made, it was going to be difficult to overturn.
More people should take that approach, but the that’s boring. You generate more clicks if you float conspiracy theories that trigger simple minds.
