We have the best pro style qb. He’s a true freshman. Name a true freshman playing for a bad team that has done better in the last 10 years.Rather than getting the 40th best pro style QB, id rather have the best option QB year in and year out
That is an ancient art, not enough top coaches or players want any part of it, but if you had them, it would be fun to see again.Rather than getting the 40th best pro style QB, id rather have the best option QB year in and year out
I’d settle for a gritty dog that just grinds every play, gets his guys fired up to play for him and gets after the opponent. These genZ are a bunch of scared indoor cats.fight me
You are not objective at all. He’s got time in the pocket more often than not and he’s not making the right reads and getting the ball out. He deserves a ton of blame. His coaches suck tooWe have the best pro style qb. He’s a true freshman. Name a true freshman playing for a bad team that has done better in the last 10 years.

Northern ILL exposed DR and Illinois capitalized on it. The blue print has been copied ever since. I'm not sure he has what it takes to improve or change his game. There will be no more wins this season with him at the helm. He’s definitely regressed. Or probably more likely, there is film on his weaknesses and he’s yet to adapt. A lot of growth needs to happen quickly. He’s got a good arm but his pocket presence, reads, and intangibles leave a lot to be desired as it stands right now
Hard to argue, the data says he is Frost 2.0A good head coach is worth his weight in gold
Instead DR is dragging around a 240lbs bag of short ugly hairy soft paunchy bloviating horseshit
Frost is a better coach than Rhule, who belongs on public access Sunday morning television grifting cash from widows $10 at a timeHard to argue, the data says he is Frost 2.0

Now you’re trolling. Hate Rhule all you want. Frost was a drunk that couldn’t even get to practice on time and chose booze over recruiting a five star qb.Frost is a better coach than Rhule, who belongs on public access Sunday morning television grifting cash from widows $10 at a time
He designed his own offense and called his own playsNow you’re trolling. Hate Rhule all you want. Frost was a drunk that couldn’t even get to practice on time and chose booze over recruiting a five star qb.

Dylan is learning. College defense are much more sophisticated than any high school defense. He’s not had consistent oline play. His wr’s aren’t open. What do you really expect from a 19 year old true freshman? Look at arch mannning this year playing for a much better team. He’s had a lot of struggles
THIS. True Frosh QB struggling—commit to the run and have the mentality that we have 2 downs to get it.3rd and 3 inside the 15...passing down, hate that mentality
The true condemnation of the offensive line is the running game and blitz pick up. If we had a consistent running game, DR would have a lot less pressure on him. We all know we can’t run the ball for shitI watch. The offensive line does an admirable job for him much of the time. You can’t see on TV, but the reports are that wide receivers are running open and he doesn’t see them. I think he knows where he’s going with the ball 90% of the time.
I will agree that our wide receivers do a poor job of blocking on the perimeter, and when they do do it, it’s usually holding
You mean dual-threat QB?fight me
My typing fingers are as good as Matty Frost's coaching, fight meI too, am a fan of the ootion.
At some point, people don't give a shit what your last name is.You didn’t answer the question. Name a true freshman qb playing for a bad team that has been more successful.

I don’t care what his name is. I don’t care what his recruiting ranking is. I care about what his experience level is vs what we are asking him to do. If you want to be a prick that says he isn’t getting it done, ignoring the fact he is a true freshman with a poor supporting cast, then by all means, have at it. At the end of the day, people want a scapegoat and it’s always the qb. So I guess get your rocks off trashing a true freshman. Hope you enjoy itAt some point, people don't give a shit what your last name is.
Here’s the problem - all good athletes need coaches to develop them and help them grow. Remember how Adrian Smith looked at Kansas State after leaving the Huskers? Now we’ve brought in even a better player and the world is watching how our coaches are making him worse.fight me
At this point that seems more appetizing than bringing in a low rent version of what OSU, Georgia, Bama etc run. We will always be a band of misfit toys in that system - nothing moreHere’s the problem - all good athletes need coaches to develop them and help them grow. So, bring in the best damn option quarterback around, but I imagine you will not be very happy what’s the progress you see throughout the year.
First of all, fvck off. Secondly, I was commenting on what someone said about Arch Manning and Dylan. At some point, it don't matter who your daddy or uncle is, you gotta produce.I don’t care what his name is. I don’t care what his recruiting ranking is. You’ve been on the board trashing people; coaches, players and other posters for the last month. So if you can’t handle a little thrown back your way, that’s a you problem. You don’t like it? Check yourself. Maybe be a bit more preacher and less asshole.First of all, fvck off. Secondly, I was commenting on what someone said about Arch Manning and Dylan. Charmin soft.Dude, its a football game. Big deal.
Unless you're a moderator, its none of your business what I post, or say.
I'm not a fan of mediocrity. In life, there are expectations.
Go away cause I have a place for somebody like you.
The USC QB is not a true freshman he is A RS sophomore that means he has been in College for 3 years. Moron. The USC QB today is an example
Im pretty sure we can still find some Class D homecoming kings that would be willing to live in the weight room and eat 6k calories a day for the opportunity to kill someone his junior year.Didn’t read shit. I want to go back to option football, tired of hating my team and myself
He's not mobile at all. I think that being able to run a little is very important against modern defensive schemes. I really do feel like Haarberg gives us another dimension at times. We also just don't have receivers that can get open or stretch the field. If we can get a five star WR it might be tte difference.fight me
