i think we shock the world Saturday....

I scored 4 tickets for $40 total. If we win I will be the happiest son of a bitch in 8 states.

I watched Riley presser last night and he was talking about preparation for a highly rated opponent. He talked about how you would like to have your team practice. He said the team looked to be focused and i like that. Call it a gut feeling.
Noted. Do you often get a lot of odd feelings emanating from your gut?

sorry ... we sound like kansas or iowa state fans back in the 90s the week of the Nebraska game

here's hoping for a miracle

Yeah, I've never gambled but have always heard that Vegas moves the line to try to attract the most money. Then yesterday I hear a guy say that according to some web site he follows, about 80% of the money is on MSU and Vegas hasn't moved the spread at all which this guy said meant that Vegas was VERY CONFIDENT in their spread. I don't get it at all. If I had money to give away I think I'd bet the house on MSU this game. I think this game will be interesting to watch based on the betting line and to see what Vegas apparently is seeing that over 80% of everyone else isn't.

Vegas doesn't give a shit if they pick the game right. They ONLY care about making money. They make money by getting equal bets on both sides. You bet 11 to win 10-that is how they make money. They do not want more money on one side than the other...which is why they move the line to try and entice betting for the team with less money on it.

Whoever you listened to has no clue what they are talking about.

I would like to share your enthusiasm, but they still have a lot to play for at this point. Michigan State would love to curb stomp us and Nebraska is still a quality win in this conference despite this year's dumpster fire of a team. Talent and coaching wise were are not a 3-6 team, but mix mediocre recruiting from the previous staff, an average coaching staff, a lot of injuries and no depth to speak of that's why we are 3-6 and laughing stock of the country right now.
Almost correct, other than a W over the Huskers =a quality win this year.

I will disagree with you, it is still a quality win. When you play Nebraska, unlike Iowa. You guys are undefeated and still get no respect, which tells me all I need to know about your program. If we undefeated they talking about us for the playoff not just to the rose bowl, don't hate.

Wish we had the horses and health to do that. My hypothetical money is on a loss, and even if it is a nail-biter, there will be no shortage of those calling for Riley and Co. to pack and leave tomorrow. Bring on Winstrom, Peters and other ex-Huskers, with or without any coaching ability or experience, to run the athletic dept/ football team, etc...(which, by the way, seems far more ridiculous to me, in year 1*, than firing a 9-win coach with obvious and toxic personal problems) Hope I'm wrong! Our hope is to not allow huge TD plays and get tough in the shortened field/red zone...GBR!

*injuryfest and residual attitude problems
