I have to laugh…

We're too deficient in to many areas to place that loss on one person/position IMO. Was HH great on Saturday? No...but neither was anyone else..and I doubt anyone really ever thought HH had the ability to single handedly carry the team to victory week in and week out...I still think he's our best option and I'm not going to rip on him.

I agree that HH is our only option right now and I appreciate his heart, but he is not a good QB. The point of this thread is how the HH fanboys are absolutely beside themselves if anyone criticizes HH. Many of those same fanboys have not hesitated to rip Sims, Purdy, Grant, and the entire O-line, I find their hypocrisy and total lack of self awareness laughable. HH clearly is not the only reason for the losses in which he was the starter, then again neither was Sims.

I will only listen to posters that understand all the variables that are included with this mess called our offense. He had a bad game , and looks lost at times' I can say it. What I really can't grasp, but it's today's mindset is HH is not good and that's it. I want success now. He can't grow, screw that it's his first year. Phuck that he play's behind our O line. Forget about the whole new receiving core. It's plug and play . Everything should sync and if it doesn't ,blame the QB. Was our offense good last year ? What was the projection with everybody coming back ? I get people are pissed but are you surprised ....really ? Lets take away some of his runs and see what are record looks like. Sims debate , or you nuts ? Grant ? The dude has regressed. Purdy ? Who know's what he can do, haven't seen him . Some fans can't seem to handle that this program was in the mud and was going to be slightly better than average at best. Now take away all those seasoned players. My thought's are how the hell can we win ? We are damn lucky the defense has been good or we might have two wins. Pile on HH if it helps you feel better but this is a team sport. Iowa is 7-2 ? Name their QB, I can't.

as always in football, the quarterback gets the credit for wins (except here) and blame for the losses

no, Sims was quite literally responsible for losing the Minnesota game. in no situation is blame supposed to be distributed equally, so your expectation of such a naive.

Sims is an employee who not only is terrible at his job, he's so terrible that he makes others around him worse and destroys the morale. not only that, he's an employee who was paid quite a lot to come work for the company, and his arrival led to employees who may have been better than he quit the company.

the oline is the work computer system. when it constantly crashes, it makes any productivity near impossible.

Thanks for reminding me, I completely forgot that Sims ran up behind Grant and punched the ball out of his hand in the Minnesota game.

no worries.

i'm guessing you also forgot Sims gave Minnesota the ball with under a minute left which directly led to their game-winning field goal.

this of course was long after his 2nd int (i know it gets confusing since there were 3) that caused points to be taken off the board right before half.

Sims has had plenty of time to get the job back, he hasn't . HH is the starter, period.
