I have to laugh…

The offense is the worst in the country. They might be the worst in history. I think there is room to trash pretty much everybody associated with the offense.

It’s going to be really tough to get that one win, to go bowling, when nobody is afraid of our passing game. Everyone is going to load up on the run until we prove we can beat them with the passing game.

Yes, HH is bad, but most of us who know actual football knew that.

That being said, this OL and the group of 18 year old WR just aren’t close to where they need to be.

Future still looks bright to me. Grease out one more win and get to a bowl game.

This reminds me of when we had Mike Grant. Or for a short time, Frankie London. Guys who took on all of the expectations of Husker QB's, but they couldn't do it. They simply weren't D-1 QB's. Athletes and leaders, absolutely. Something big is coming. Frazier came after Grant. Crouch came after London. And the thing is, Haarberg is a good enough athlete, teammate, and leader to stay on the field after that happens. He would line up in the slot or be a superback type, and enjoy winning just as much, I'm sure.

Someone said Nebraska treats black qbs/players different. I am starting to believe it.
I was wondering what iowapoopypants thought about the subject.

I do have to chuckle that a grown adult man sat down and took the time to create a profile called "iowapoopypants" and spends time out of his day troll post using it. Only in freaking America baby. And people wanna ditch the free market system? FFS only this system could create such a ginormous amount of leisure time and high standard of living as to allow a man time to think of and create an iowapoopypants profile on a husker forum.

HH is bad but sims literally can't get the snap. HH might throw some bad passes that the defense picks off 30 yards down field but Sims pitches or hands the ball directly to the defense. Ruhle tried giving Sims a chance last week which I'm fine with and he proceeded to have the worst play of the day, handing the ball to the defense for a touchdown that was literally Purdue's only sign of life the entire day.

Hey, we were absolutely ripped on 4 calls, had 3 horrible turnovers and almost still won. So we got that going for us, which is nice.
I think HH is the best QB currently on the roster, but he had a terrible day. No way to sugar coat it. I don't think you get trophies for almost winning. If that were the case Scott Frost would still be the Husker coach.

It's year one. It's a good sign. It shows when we get a qb or teach Haarberg to not turn the ball over we won't lose games like today.

Is there anyone on our coaching staff that can help HH or any QB get better?

We're too deficient in to many areas to place that loss on one person/position IMO. Was HH great on Saturday? No...but neither was anyone else..and I doubt anyone really ever thought HH had the ability to single handedly carry the team to victory week in and week out...I still think he's our best option and I'm not going to rip on him.

Waitaminute. As a loyal Hawkeye fan it really pisses me off when you Huskers always try to steal our glory. I’m not havin’ it. We’re demonstrably the worst offense in NCAA, and damn proud of it. GTFO

And oh, BTW, we’re 7-2 🤣

Screw that. We're taking that bottom spot this season.

Our QB's are having a competition to see who can turn the ball over the most. And they're all winning.

I'm hoping we can get a field goal off a kick return down to your 5 yard line and win the game 5-4.

what are kick returns?

So are you saying both are bad, just different kinds of bad?

at the posters crying about people trashing Haarberg. Probably 95% of those crying are the ones who trash Sims, Purdy, Grant, and the entire offensive line. But, I guess that’s different somehow.;)
Yes, your obsessed hatred for HH is well documented Todd. Did he pork your daughter or something?
