Gill and Glynn hitting from the field. BC doesn't play near the intense D that St John's did.
jinxed em. Gone cold now.Brutal officiating. Seriously, ridiculous

Dingle, I am afraid I have jinxed us
Interesting how that scoring drought pretty quickly ended when the refs suddenly remembered they could call BC for fouls, isn't it?6 minnscoring drought. Never fails
0-4 over the next 4

BC didn't play D like St John's. Not even close so it made it a little easier to get clean looks. Gill has been a pleasant surprise. Now maybe we're seeing what guys were talking about out of him when they watched practice before the knee injury. It would be a HUGE help to have another guy out there that can knock down an outside shot. With Gill, Palmer, Copeland, and Glynn all a threat that should hopefully open up some things in the paint.Thought the Huskers looked pretty good last night once they started blocking out. In the first half BC was eating them alive on the offensive glass, but NU seemed to clean that up later in the game. BC is not a very good team, but this is still a pretty solid win given the Big Ten's performance against the ACC this week.

Probably... But if they do better their rpi will be in tournament territory.
2-2 and they can just simply not suck the rest of the year to get in.
Likely? Nope. 1-3 seems likeliest to me. Truth is it only takes that to keep them in contention for an ncaa bid.
Seems to me people are projecting our football woes onto basketball. We aren't duke but we have some players. Nit seems like our floor this year... Which means our ceiling is higher.
NIT is our floor? That would mean we are guaranteed to go over .500 which we still aren't projected to do. That can change obviously but right now we are only projected to be favored in 7-8 or our 23 remaining games. And three of those games will be against teams that will likely finish +250 in the RPI.
It's always amusing to see someone deride everyone else's basketball knowledge, then make the keen observation that a key to winning is to shoot 50% from the three-point line.NIT is our floor? Game almost turned up 49-42 with a horrendous charge call on what should have been an and 1. Hot shooting in the first half. Tough second half on offense. Anton Gills play is a welcome sight...didn’t expect to get much out of him this year. Hopefully we can get another W out of the next four.

Gee, ya think? Only 7 teams in the country are shooting 45%+ from three. But just shoot 50%, and you'll win games. It's that simple.
