Snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.
-Beason went missing the last few games of the year. Curious.
-Our freshman libero had at least 4 critical mistakes that I counted, 1 of which was taking a ball from Lexi.
-Too many soft tips over the net-Smash the damn ball.
-couple of sets by Lexi that were too close to the net.
-our block only showed up in set 2.
Oh well, fun watching the girls this year. Wish they could have finished it off.

Your argument is harder to make because Penn State was never up 22-16 about to beat Nebraska 3-1. Nebraska had the advantage of having far less plays left to make to win the match and they shut down. They kept it close but it stopped feeling close in the 5th set.
Watch any sport, whenever a team gives up that kind of massive lead, it’s a total let down every time. You ever watch Nebraska vs Iowa football, TFrazier? Who’s at fault?
I understand this team is miles ahead of football but in this game they folded when it was in the bag. They still had a great season and we would all kill just for a Nebraska football season ending in the playoffs.

I would imagine Murray will be getting a lot of hateful social media posts after last night's painful loss. It's well documented she has struggled mental health wise this past year in dealing with comments from last year's title game loss and her personal missteps. I hope for her sake she stays off Tik Tok and other social media for a time.

We (and almost every other team ) wins when we have a dominant hitter. Someone who can take over the game. Who is that?
Their big 2, one of whom left here, took huge swings every chance they got. Ours hit roll shots that were easily defended.
Just a brutal, brutal loss. They had a good season but really a bad ending. That's two years in a row. Quite frankly, it's the last 7 years of not closing things out. The floor is a lot higher, but there seems to be something systemic just like football, there's enough years of evidence now.

Pretty simple - Penn St. stopped the 'soft tip' per coach's instructions. Third set is where the agressive approach began to pay off for them - they just swang away.
I also observed Mendleson never saw the court I think after the first or second set. Jordan Hopp was inserted and performed much better in the middle.
We played pretty timid at the point of attack except for Andi.

I would love to start being disappointed when Nebraska football starts losing in the college football playoff semifinals... Shoot, I can't wait to be disappointed after only winning 9 games in a season.
Yahhhh probably but I think many were thinking it. I realize she was a freshman and said it in the heat of the moment. I'm assuming she didn't come anywhere near saying that this time.
My question is how many do we try to get in the portal. We need to replace Beason and lexi. We think mauch is the replacement but there's pretty good drop off at this time. I don't see any body currently on this team that's as good as last year's and first part of this year's Beason. Not sure what happened recently but her production tanked.

No, he's a good coach. Good coaches lose their touch all the time, though. He looked himself in the mirror and changed once already, he probably needs to do some soul searching again and fix the issues holding back the team from winning championships though.
Harper had a GREAT match. She was by far the best Husker on the court last night. The Huskers lost by inch. If Harper's foot wasn't across the line, the match would have ended with a Husker victory.
That’s actually painful to think about… Murray’s kill from the back court that would have effectively put the game out of reach. So close…

Boesiger. She hadn’t seen much game action yet. Choboy is very good defense like Lexi is . Obviously not same level but still dang good. I need to look at the post of recruits coming in.
