Today started off so promising. Nebraska FB on the verge of a bowl game, VB with an undefeated season still alive, SOC in the Elite Eight. All three lost despite each having a good-to-great chance to win at the end.
FB = missed go-ahead FG, game-losing interception (again) leading to FG as time expired
VB = Led 19-18 in Set 1 and 22-19 in Set 2, lost both sets and got swept
SOC = tied game w/ three min left in regulation but allowed an OT goal to Stanford and lost 2-1
Not trying to twist the knife, not trying to be an ass. It just sucks. All of it. Time to regroup and rally.
