Holgorsen Now in Lincoln

this is true

Leach's quarterback coaching philosophy famously started and ended with:

"You, the guy with the ball. Throw it to the guy who's open".

or

"Well, just throw it to the guy who's fricking open!"
Leach always said he would only recruit HS QB's that had a high completion % because "that is not really something you coach".

That always seemed really simple and really obvious.

Do we get a Chasing 3 video showing the awkward vibe around the football offices this week? Has this EVER happened before?

No way Tony White gets a head coaching offer. His defense this year has been feast or famine. No consistency at all.
Agree on the feast or famine, but our defensive effort has been erratic at best. Not sure it's all scheme.

The Indianapolis Colts drafted Anthony Richardson. Amazing that an NFL franchise doesn’t even know this, but it’s true. You really can’t teach accuracy
Richardson needed at least one or two more years in college — and NFL owners dumped NFL Europe (to save their precious cents), which would have been an option.

He's just not that good.
You may be right, he didn't set the world on fire as a frosh. I would never write someone off after their freshman year but he appears to be a middle of the pack or lower BIG qb. Like it or not that's the reality so far. He can change that narrative and maybe it is all Satts fault. Maybe not.

Every program in the conference would take Raiola with zero hesitation. He wouldn't step into a starting role instantly at all of them but his talent and potential is not in question.

I didn't say they wouldn't. I didn't say I'm not glad to have him. I said as of today he is avg or below. That is a fact. I also said he can change that. Also a fact. If he has 4 years parallel with the one he is currently having it would be a major bust. If he shows upward trajectory and improves ( I suspect he will) then he changes the narrative on him.
Anyone who has watched him play know the potential is there. Thay also know he has made many mistakes and missed guys open, not taken chances when he should have and taken a few he shouldn't.
I also said maybe it's all Satts fault. Maybe another O coordinator schemes guys open better and makes the game easier.

I agree with everything you said about his performance so far. Personally I have no question whatsoever that it's Satt's fault and that Raiola has great days ahead of him here, assuming he doesn't bail to a competent program. I doubt someone like Dana Holgorsen would be signing on here if it weren't for the presence of QB talent like we currently have. I love HH but I don't think DH would see him as someone to build a coaching resume with.

Has there been anything official from the university on DH?

Doesn’t sound like Holgorsen’s role at TCU was that hands on. Seems like he could come and go as he pleased.
I mean, I think that is the only way you get a guy like Dana to even help out.

I worked at a place that brought in a consultant once. Dude would show up when he wanted, drink coffee, sort of do this fake interviews with people, walk around and leave when he wanted.

He probably got 25K to be there for 4 weeks and I bet he was in the building a total of 40 hours over those 4 weeks.

On that podcast it said being employed was part of his buyout agreement with TCU.
