Hoiskers travel to Madison as 6 point dogs

I don’t think it will matter. These refs aren’t going to allow us to come back. We’re getting mugged on the boards
Yeah but I’m talking more about upcoming games. This team isn’t overly athletic even with Lawrence. Without him, they slow to a crawl.

Refs.. I don’t think they need your help any longer. Maybe try to balance out the calls now and look objective

IF I’m a Husker player right now I’m probably going to get my money’s worth on a foul about now. F’n refs are awful.

I don’t think there is a player in college basketball I hate more than Chucky Hepburn.

We’re gonna beat the piss out these punks at the vault. Cheese dicks won’t shoot anywhere close to this well on the road. Fred’s game plan was based on packing the paint and giving up a few 3s to an average shooting team. They got hot and the defensive game plan went to shit.

Defense has gotten absolutely shredded. Refs haven’t been great, maybe 6 extra points for Wisconsin. We’d still lose.

I’d say more like 10-12 but yeah.. would still probably lose bc Wisky is shooting well from three

This team feels like a Pelini football team. They win the games they should and then get destroyed on any kind of bigger game.

Nah. They’ve been getting mugged in the paint and got tickytacky calls against them early that made our bigs afraid to challenge. Crappy officiating, early foul trouble and an insanely hot Vadger team.

Crap.

Not a good outing.

Wisky had all the answers.

We are much better than we showed today. Winning on the road in the B10 is tough.

We are pretty good. Just not today.

Terrible take … beaten Indiana, Msu and kstate which are all good teams
5 years and no true point guard and people wonder why our offense goes away against good teams. This is what happens when you fluff your schedule to make it look like you're a good team imo. Indiana isn't a good team (good talent, good moments), K-State couldn't hit an open shot to save their lives and MSU is still figuring it out. MSU just watched us get smoked by Minn and Creighton prior to playing. I think MSU came in with their guard down.

Given my age I had probably been a Nebraska fan for close to 50 years. I used to go to games in the old coliseum and watch Jerry Fort and Bob Siegel, Terry Novak.
I remember switching to BD. I still have the program from the first game. Saw Kevin McHale play for Minnesota among other stars. Nee years were good. A lot of people didn't care for Moe Iba but I liked his hard-nosed style of play even if we weren't all that good. He coached his players and worked the refs during the game unlike the mannequins we seemed to go through lately.

At some point several years ago I just lost interest and gave up. This program has been something else. Even the worst, least supported programs rise up once in a whole. Not this one, they've been consistently mediocre to bad for untold decades.

So I find it entertaining to read through game and post game comments. It's always the rotten refs. In fact, it's the same comments. You could literally transpose the same posts for each loss and no one would notice.
I know it seems it because it's universal for fans of teams of almost any sport to see indignities being pressed upon their favorite squads.
Truth is, Nebraska basketball just can't get over that same hump they've been fighting for what seems an eternity.
I am not making fun of your Charlie Brown- Lucy routine, it's actually somewhat admirable. I just can't stomach being a part of it.

Long drawn out posts like this come from holding in your emotions, don't hold back so much, you're gonna pop.

I'm not a big NU basketball fan but randomly took my kids to a game earlier this season and kind of starting casually watching. Turned on the game yesterday and noticed 2 apparent things: refs were definitely giving Wisconsin a break and Wisconsin just has more height/length. The calls weren't going to make a difference with the way they were shooting from 3, but as a "new" casual fan, they were obvious.
