Yea that was an offensive foul with the chicken wingDude just elbows brice and then somehow it's a foul on brice
Gary was huge tonight, Williams also very solid and that's the best Worster has played in quite a while. Nothing spectacular, but hit some big shots and broke the press very nicely.
Anticipatory calls. Hate themLol foul on Gary for walling up like a statue, no hand check or anything on that shot. Feels like refs just get in this zombie-like rhythm where they’re expecting a foul so they just blow the whistle.
I bet $10 on the money line!I don't think anyone saw this win coming lol.
Looking at upcoming schedule, counting the last 2 wins there is a solid chance we follow up the 6 game losing streak with 9 straight wins. All the talk a week ago of it’s time to move on from Fred is in the garbage. More like he is earning another contract extension and a raise.Win 5 of the last 9, and we'll be in the Big Dance.
With 5 home games left and no more ranked teams on the schedule, that should be a realistic expectation. Michigan and Maryland could be ranked by then but we get them at home.

Hoiberg is under contract through 2029, at nearly $5 mil per year. What on God's green Earth would NU stand to gain by giving him another contract extension?Looking at upcoming schedule, counting the last 2 wins there is a solid chance we follow up the 6 game losing streak with 9 straight wins. He got an extension after last season, why wouldn’t he get one this year for making the tourney?Hoiberg is under contract through 2029, at nearly $5 mil per year. What on God's green Earth would NU stand to gain by giving him another contract extension?
I'm enjoying this epic 2-game winning streak as much as anyone, but please pump the brakes.
I'll ask again - what would NU stand to gain by extending Hoiberg past 2029?He got an extension after last season, why wouldn’t he get one this year for making the tourney?
You look at the last 2 games and then look at the next 7 and tell me we shouldn’t win each of them!!
Showing him commitment. As he gets more and more wins others will begin to look and say hey his guy wins at Nebraska think what he could do here. Fred is going to be getting calls and it’s best to keep him in a long term agreement.I'll ask again - what would NU stand to gain by extending Hoiberg past 2029?
Who is Fred going to get better offers from, if Nebraska has the audacity to only lock him up for four seasons at a time?Showing him commitment. Never say never I guess but not really seeing Fred leaving for a much higher pressure gig. IMO, he’s still adapting to what the game has become, has a pretty solid X’s & O’s base, just needs to reel in a couple top shelf players every year to carry out the vision. Of course easier said than done . Not sure the customary extension is needed every year in the age of the portal.Showing him commitment.
