Hoiskers travel to Champaign as 9.5 underdog

Jesus Underwood, can you really keep this up the entire game?

Lots to complain about from NU, but still a 2 point lead at half. If they could just clean up those unforced TOs, we’d be really dangerous.

Illinois lucky they aren’t getting rekt right now. Not sure we do this again the second half, but lol @ anyone that still thinks Nebraska doesn’t look like a March madness team

Hoiberg better have some drills ready for the off-season for the team to better protect the ball when they do actually drive to the rim.

Nebraska is so careless wi the the ball. Lazy passing. Not being strong with the dribble. It’s really hard to watch at times. They have good shot making, good defense for the most part. They just get overwhelmed athletically at times and get careless

I like Nebraska’s intensity. Had a chance to build a big lead but Illinois is a good team. I like how Nebraska matches up with these guys.

Minimize the mistakes, keep attacking and don’t stand around when the ball is in the air.

It seems like when someone does drive to the hoop, there is a lot of congestion. Too easy to knock the ball away with that much traffic. Can never figure out why that is about the only time we DON’T have most of out guys at the 3 point line.

How miserable is your life. They are winning @ #14 Illinois right now
My life is great but thanks for asking. Theyre winning but if you don’t see the flaws that have led to them being winless on the road this year, you’re blind or ignorant.

And this could bite them in the azz in the 2nd half.

First.. they aren’t winless on the road. Second.. if you can’t recognize their accomplishments it just makes you a miserable douche
Sorry. “Winless on the road in conference play”. No one has knocked the accomplishments. But if you want to get where you want to go, honest assessment and making small fixes goes a long way. They’ve been terrible on the road. Rutgers, Maryland, Minnesota and Iowa were all winnable. If you go 0-fer on the road in conference, it’s hard to make the tourney. Plus…tournament games won’t be at PBA. They need to make the round of 32 and get the monkey off the programs back.

I get what Shine is saying. We waste about 5-10 possessions a game on careless passes and steals on drives. We are shooting well from outside and that compensates for the unforced errors, but we aren't good enough (yet) to give away possessions.
