We’re very bubbly right now, but probably still on the inside. (slightly) Need to get 2-3 on the road and 0-1 losses at home. We do that and we’re N. Our B1G schedule is somewhat front loaded, schedule is gonna get more manageable and Fred’s team generally get better down the stretch. I’m optimistic, but there’s still a lot of work to be done. GBR
We will be on the bubble until the end of the season. We all need to to be realistic. Why anyone thought we were definitely in the Dance based on the last month or two baffles me. When someone says we will win one or two conference on the road I want to ask them which ones because we won't be favored in any of them. We don't have the quickness or athleticism relative to many other teams in the conference. I tend to be a positve person but I am also a realist.
A bit OT, but Saint Thomas completely destroyed the Hawkeyes last night - 24 points, 9 boards, 7 assists. Would have looked really good in red this year.

I’m one to believe it too early for such talk. Play the games and by at least Super Bowl Sunday we’ll have a much better idea.
This isn’t football. Rutgers has better talent. Our freshmen just have to learn how to play defense. It’s taken time for them to acclimate to this level.
We will likely start 4 freshmen and a graduate Student. Tyson Acuff, the graduate student, is almost fully healed from his injury. Lathan Somerville, our Center, had his best game of the season, vs ucla. Not much of a scorer, but we need him to grab those boards. Our lottery picks Harper and Bailey, are good for 20 points a piece. Need the rest of the team to combine for 30 points.

I was about to post the same thing. Winning at Maryland or Ohio State will be tall orders. Similarly, holding home court against teams like Illinois and Michigan will be tough.

He has stepped up his defensive effort. This needs to be his game, don’t turn the ball over and play like Sam Hoiberg on defense. Also… where TF was Rollie the last 3-5 minutes? Not sure 2 fouls warrants benching your best PG for the entire 1st half?
