The 3rd place game between Oakland and Hawaii is at 5:30 . Tip likely will be at 8 or so.
This will probably be the most important game of the non-conference for the selection committee if we are near the bubble around the first week of March.
Need to win this one then hope Oregon St, Creighton, St Mary’s and Mich St go on to have (or continue) good seasons. Those teams continue to win this non-conference schedule looks a lot better than it did a month ago.

OSU and St. Mary’s should both rack up quite a few wins in the WCC. Creighton is looking more middle-of-the-pack in the Big East this year, but maybe they’ll pick it up a bit after the holidays.

Rebounding looks to be a big problem off the bat. Need to box out and stop just jumping at the ball.
Gary and Williams are more talented than anything Oregon state has, They should be able to dominate.

Was thinking the same thing. Odd they’re both off the court. They can’t do much inside on our bigs. They’re staying in this by shooting over us. It’s what they’re going to rely on.
A team can game plan for 1 of those guys. If both are in the same rotation it makes it harder to defend both of them at the same time???

Yeah those two shots are going to keep the Beavs honest on defense.
I pretty much hate refs too, but after watching the Indiana game in person I was reminded that it has to suck trying to officiate these games. It’s SO physical, I wouldn’t want to decide what’s a foul and what’s not in real time.
