I know it’s not how BW/JG wanted the season to go- but hope they had some fun this week. Both will be missed.
Brice and Juwan will go down as 2 of my all time favorites Huskers. Gave it their all, got better while they were here, stayed loyal, and nothing but class. Just wish Fred could have surrounded them with a better supporting cast this year. Just think what Brice could’ve looked like if the opposing team couldn’t focus on him…
I admittedly checked out when they went down by 14. Up 12, down 14, up 12…wild.
I’m not sure, but I think it goes to an NiL fund. No idea what the details are though.

Kind of UCF’s m.o., really. You watch them and wonder how they are not a tournament team. Then you watch a little longer and they remind you.

We don't win this tournament without Jacobsen's contributions. Amazing. I don't think I saw him miss a 3.
Gotta get more NIL $$$. We talked about it all season PG was a huge miss.
In the current reality, that’s the only thing to do really. The NIL payout was a key feature to the tournament. Basically a clear pay to play/win.
From a competitor standpoint, no obviously. But for being in this tournament, we got two games on Network TV (which is more than most teams in the tournament got), the players got to spend a week in Vegas and rake in 300k while doing it. If I'm playing that sounds like a better time then getting blasted in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
I absolutely think this is better than a first round exit from the ncaa tourney in wichita or some crap, for fans and players. How can it not be?
All I know is winning the last game of the year feels good. When these seniors come back with their kids to visit dad's alma mater he can show them a cool looking trophy he helped bring home.

Absolutely! This is nebraska basketball. Proud of the guys for deciding to play hard and compete and win.
