Supposedly the fire alarm went off 5 times over night where the Huskers were staying.
I’d like to see Essegian inserted into the starting line up for more offense. Everyone besides Brice is passive on offense in our starting 5
Andrew Morgan is our second most aggressive scorer on offense.
If we were athletic enough we could use that against this team. Unfortunately we look like we’re trying to play like them but they’re better at it. Need more bully ball from Morgan and parlay it with action to get Conner open from deep.
Bottom line is the starting 5 does not have near enough agressiveness on offense
That’s probably true, although I would say 3-point defense has been the worst part of the team in this one. Can only hope they find themselves quickly as it is again a ton of new players starting together.
Disagree about Allick. Morgan is a better version of him. Allick was clumsy as hell
Pretty good half. Defense picked up a little at least towards the end with a few nice blocks at the rim. Brice really carrying us on offense with 18. Great FT shooting as well from our guys.
He more than made up for it with his terrible offensive fumbles. Should’ve been a defensive football player, guy had no hands
I wish I could say I was optimistic about the end of that half but I feel like St. Mary’s will be able to carry what they’re doing offensively into the second, not as confident that we can. Need to make adjustments on defense to defend the 3

I don’t know. That sequence where they got away with and illegal screen and had a guy hanging on the rim, and then we get called for a foul was bad. But they missed two FT’s so didn’t really matter.
