It was in response to you making the Michigan game about the quarterback, but it never was.Twist? You included a jab at the quarterbacks in a post which said, and I quote, “it has nothing to do with the quarterbacks”
Could’ve just left that part out of it was indeed all about the D
Saying our offense will struggle vs Michigan is an opinion unless you have a crystal ballIt wasn’t a jab at the quarterbacks, it was simply a fact, not opinion.
Yea, one in which words are used properly. You live in your own reality.
our offense has not exactly lit it up, even under Haarberg. He’s certainly improved over Sims, but it was against northern Illinois. 35 points. Not bad, but it doesn’t exactly instill confidence going into Michigan.Saying our offense will struggle vs Michigan is an opinion unless you have a crystal ball
You don’t know. None of us do.
doesn't make your post any less of an opinion.our offense has not exactly lit it up, even under Haarberg. He’s certainly improved over Sims, but it was against northern Illinois. 35 points. Not bad, but it doesn’t exactly instill confidence going into Michigan.
Not sure why you’re trying so hard to make it about our QBs. It’s gameday, GBR!doesn't make your post any less of an opinion.
not sure why you're fighting so hard to crap on our team. it's gameday. GBR!
Happy HH is starting and he should IMO, but the fact that Sims was voted a single digit by his teammates shows he earned their respect, too.Sucks for sims? I’m guessing nobody’s more relieved.
It’s Haarberg’s team. Always has been. Just listen to what his brothers say about him.
Oh boy.. Hopefully he's shown the ability to throw the ball down the field this week in practice.
I can cut HH some slack in his first start. I also cut Sims a little slack in his first Husker start. When he did it again I wasn't willing to any more. That's 26 starts and eventually you either do simple stuff and win games or you don't.our offense has not exactly lit it up, even under Haarberg. He’s certainly improved over Sims, but it was against northern Illinois. 35 points. Not bad, but it doesn’t exactly instill confidence going into Michigan.
I also expect Haarberg to hit at least one 25+ yard pass today.I can cut HH some slack in his first start. I also cut Sims a little slack in his first Husker start. When he did it again I wasn't willing to any more. That's 26 starts and eventually you either do simple stuff and win games or you don't.
With HH at the helm and Grant at rb I expect this O to start to develop the identity we all thought they would have as a grind it out, physical team. HH and Grant both want to be the most physical person on the field and I think both are hungry to prove people wrong.
I didn't mean as in fair to him, fair to be prepped as a team if Sims has to play next week.Fair? WTF is this? Pop Warner? Sims can continue to sit on the sidelines and be a cheerleader.
OK everyone, line up and grab your participation trophy.
Best to say the verdict is still out…This is opinion, not reality
You start out your sentence with no excuses for sims.. then immediately make excuses. Solid critical thinking skills ya got there..No excuses for Sim's turnovers but 2 games on the road against power 5 teams (one was a top 20 team) is different than 2 games at home against group of 5 teams. Rhule is resting Sims for Michigan.
That’s the situation we’re in like it or not. Beating a couple of cupcakes at home doesn’t mean as much as you think. It’s a start. That’s it.I expect to see many more “let’s wait and see HH play a P5/B1G team” comments after he kicks more ass this afternoon
Sad sad sad
I don’t think anybody does our QB any favors by heaping expectations on him after one startI really don’t get the passive aggressive responses against HH.
There are excuses for his turnovers?Wrong.
I haven’t seen a single poster on here “crying for Sims”. People are just pumping the brakes on anointing Haarberg as the next Frazier.Only submissive Nebraska fans would be crying for a QB whose looked like shit to have an opportunity to continue to start over a QB that played a clean game. Only glutens for punishment think that way. You all are sick sons of bitches, I’ll tell you that. It’s as if your afraid of success since it’s been so long that you have any. I can’t help crazy people.
That's not actually true regarding the rb's. Grant was our best back and was only 3rd string because of fumbling in practice. Depth is a problem but Grant has proven to be durable last year and in community college.a crap offensive line + depleted RB room (3rd and 4th string) + one of the worst WR corps in the BIG is a formula where you are going to need your QB to be much more than simply a game manager
Grant didn't play at all against Colorado (he was 3rd string)- you cant tell me that whatever kept him off the field the entire CU game miraculously got fixed in the week between CU and N IllinoisThat's not actually true regarding the rb's. What are you taking about whack job. No one is claiming HH the next frazier. People want him to start because he doesn’t turn the football over and gives NU best chance to win.I haven’t seen a single poster on here “crying for Sims”. People are just pumping the brakes on anointing Haarberg as the next Frazier.
He’s the most dynamic rb of the top 3 with a ball in his hands and it’s not close. Doesn’t mean he has no other deficiencies.Grant didn't play at all against Colorado (he was 3rd string)- you cant tell me that whatever kept him off the field the entire CU game miraculously got fixed in the week between CU and N Illinois
Can you please tell us why anyone should listen to a single word you type when these were your publicly held and often defended opinions about our quarterback:I haven’t seen a single poster on here “crying for Sims”. People are just pumping the brakes on anointing Haarberg as the next Frazier.
Over react much? I think Haarberg should start too. What are you taking about whack job. No one is claiming HH the next frazier. People want him to start because he doesn’t turn the football over and gives NU best chance to win.
It’s easy to understand when you consider the source(s) and their posting history with regards to our quarterback.I really don’t get the passive aggressive responses against HH.
if true then I find it extremely odd that our coaching staff decided that our best chance to beat Colorado was to give our "most dynamic RB .. and it's not close" zero snapsHe’s the most dynamic rb of the top 3 with a ball in his hands and it’s not close. Doesn’t mean he has no other deficiencies.
As a true freshman those comments were completely rational. Can you please tell us why anyone should listen to a single word you type when these were your publicly held and often defended opinions about our quarterback:
“Taking him was a mistake”
“Doesn’t matter if he gets hurt, zero chance to play in the fall”
You’ve also yet to admit you were wrong.
What you say here means less than nothing. You have no idea what you’re talking about.
QB is the position that can make up for all that with just one dude. We just don’t have that dude. Nothing against our QBs personally.a crap offensive line + depleted RB room (3rd and 4th string) + one of the worst WR corps in the BIG is a formula where you are going to need your QB to be much more than simply a game manager

Idiots like other idiot’s posts.. no surprise hereI value his posts more than yours. Exhibit A.
Van was not a fan of running option but he could sling it.Sims and Haarberg are far cry’s away from Tagge and Van Brownson..
Not even close.. Give me a Van Brownson on this team now..
What is your problem? Did you go off your meds? The second comment came just 5 months ago during the spring game
If I was as consistently wrong as you I would never post here again
Astonishing lack of self awareness
To then double down is hubris out the wazoo
Pathetic
My problem is with mental midgets who can’t admit they were wrong & double down on their dipshitteryWhat is your problem? Did you go off your meds?
