Couple of quotes about our new DC.
"Talked to a Nebraska alum who seems to know what is going on. Told me that there are a group of boosters that think Nebraska is a professional job. They kind of forced Riley to part with coaches or else he was on the hot seat. Really feel like they hired Riley because he will bend to their will. He believes that they will move towards Frost if the do not win west next year. Absolutely have to beat iowa or else. He kind of believes that they need to understand who they are and just be like Wisconsin but boasters are stuck in 80's and 90's."
"Pretty much what I'm hearing from my Husker connected friends, especially the Frost part, which I've posted before. I'm not sure Nebraska is Frost's dream job though and I think Husker fans worry that if they let Riley stay too long Frost will be at a better gig than UCF and that he won't want to leave. My friends who like Nebraska are still as deluded as those boosters who think that a return to the 90s may happen in their lifetime although they are a lot less optimistic about it than say 5 or 10 years ago."

"Just because Michigan State was 3-9 this year doesn't erase what they had done for the previous 4–5 seasons. Not to mention the state of Michigan has far more talented than the state of Iowa does. It's not like Michigan State is a bad program. They're a great program with a great coach. Nebraska has always recruited top talent no matter what their record is. I don't know why that is surprising?"
"As for why Nebraska is able to get so many good wide receivers this year I believe it is because of their wide receivers coach. He is young, hip, and African-American. Very appealing to 18-year-old African-American kids regardless of his background and douche bag demeanor."
"You could say the same thing about Iowa for Michigan State as far as positives going for the program.... Longest tenured coach in the B1G. Produces more NFL talent than MSU... Iowa has all of the ingredients that MSU does other than a state with more recruits. "
