Have you seen improvement through 4 games?

No one is bitching about the running distribution, I think people were wondering what happened to Mikale Wilbon.

Yes, I've seen major improvement in our program in a very short period of time. Most posters couldn't see the absolute cancer Bo was to the program. Only when it because uncomfortably obvious was it noticed. Some can only see what's staring them square in the face to understand the obvious.

Again, most posters know Bo sucks and needed to go. Some posters have a mind of their own and aren't impressed from what they've seen from the current staff. Blo sucked worse than anyone. Doesn't mean we can't expect more from this team than what we've seen.

No you don't get it. And i don't expect you to. My post has zero to do with Bo and 100% to do with the fan in general. People only see the result... not the process.

Oh lets see - we are scoring less this year than last and the year before - we have gone from 19th in rushing to 71st - we are similar in total offense but as many coaches will tell you a rushing yard is worth more than a passing yard in regards to scoring and we are seeing this - all before we play the toughest defenses on our schedule

Then we are 105th in total defense - In 2007 we finished 109th in total defense - yes we are that bad this year
By that rationale, then the pass yards we have given up are worth a fraction of the run yards we used to give up. That sounds like a positive post.

Penalties? Nope
Offense? Maybe a touch.
Defense? LOL you're kidding right?
Special Teams? Not really - but hasn't been that bad

I have seen very little improvement. Biggest surprise of the season in terms of improvement has been TA. Hopefully we see improvement by the end of the season.

So your opinion in regards to our offense is based on comparing what we did in years past? That makes sense. Let's face it...you watch the games and feel like we are Texas Tech throwing the ball everywhere. Despite the stats saying otherwise. I get it, it's hard being an old Husker fan.

Come again??

We are unprepared for the onside kick and were darn lucky they did not do it again when they scored as we were still not lined up to stop that - we then were caught with our pants down on the fake field goal and were lucky on the play
But Riley said they were prepared for the onside kick but then it wasn't until the next kick that they put the hands team in???

When someone said all this before we face the toughest defenses on the the schedule, I laughed. Have some of you seen the teams on our schedule? The division we play in isn't the SEC East or anything. We have some awful defenses in front of us.

The poisonous former coaching staff is gone... forever...

That's been a huge improvement through all 4 games and in fact every time we step on the field.
