I feel terribly that we lost on a Hail Mary. We should've won that game and simply one somewhat fluke play dictated the difference of a W or a L.

That said, I was impressed with a lot of things that happened yesterday and hold optimism that our team will get better as the season goes on. The calm demeanor of the players prevented an even worse outcome. Honestly, my mind was trained to think at halftime that we'd be staring down a blowout. Instead, they made plays and fought back.

My hope is that they correct the obvious mistakes: penalties, poor pass pro, generating pressure, lack of running at times, Tommy's slipping back to bad habits for a stretch, and drew brown.

But I also cant believe the dramatic improvement in our tackling, how efficient our offense can be when it clicks, and our resilient demeanor. I think the future is bright but we will have to work through some speed bumps.
