Haarberg is going to be a heck of a TE

Wow. Did you come up with that all by yourself?
Excited Bill Murray GIF

He was 235lbs last fall according to Huskers.com
he bought that jersey last winter after he signed

wonder what Dana thinks seeing him bursting out of it after publicly stating DR "needs to get his body right"

You are really getting ahead of your skis here…
Guess again. If Haarberg had injured a knee last night, that would be the last dunk contest you would ever see. I played college athletics years ago and we were not allowed to do anything like this if we were on scholarship.

I am not against this dunk contest. But it's ironic that it happened right after that danger of the spring game stuff came out.

Believe I said he would be our starting TE next year, and of course I got ridiculed for it. Today, he did better at blocking and a little worse at route running than I expected. I think the route running will get cleared up as he continues to learn the position.
I know this is from December 28th, but there is a difference between getting ridiculed by the board and getting told by @king_kong_ that he is our best QB

The chances of one of these guys getting hurt in a dunk contest are incredibly small. Probably more likely moving stuff into their dorm room. It's not like they are playing a pick up game.

My point is if there is no spring game it isn’t because of a desire to protect against injuries, no matter what anyone else says. That’s just a cover. And to actually think they won’t do any scrimmaging to avoid injuries is just silly.
