I would love some human team sport examples, yeskong, by any measurment in sports he was 5-3. You want some examples??
In baseball, for example, that’s a no decision

You realize you're gonna make this pretty easy for me.I would love some human team sport examples, yes

You don’t even need to. He got called out on his 5-2 Haarberg delusion so he is moving the goalposts. King, you are trying to promote some sort of inane Haarberg Messiah project and you are flat out wrong. Yes, Haarberg did the best he could in a dumpster fire left by Frost. He was a subpar college quarterback that tried to shoulder a hell of an unfair load. He did admirably. But he still was not good. By eye test or stats. I don’t care if you admit it or not. He is a subpar quarterback. I hope he can be a good tight end.You realize you're gonna make this pretty easy for me.
Everyone, including HH, has moved on from this except for Kong. You don’t even need to. He got called out on his 5-2 Haarberg delusion so he is moving the goalposts. Thanks, I always need a newbie to explain things for me.You don’t even need to. He got called out on his 5-2 Haarberg delusion so he is moving the goalposts. Not really but playing time against elite defenses sure helps development. EVERY team in America is chasing O linemen developed by other programs. Apparently Okie St and Wisconsin like one of our back up walk on tackles to recruit him in the portal. So, we’re dependent on O linemen developed by other coaches?
That wasn’t meant to you so much as Limp Dong King Kong. I know I shouldn’t humor him but I also can’t let him get away with spraying his bullshit on the wall of this site without at least calling out the blatant stuff. I guess I should just put him on ignore like many do.Thanks, I always need a newbie to explain things for me.
Only guy I’ve got on ignore and now no longer on BP medication. That wasn’t meant to you so much as Limp Dong King Kong. I'm not the one bringing it up ITTEveryone, including HH, has moved on from this except for Kong.
go for it.You realize you're gonna make this pretty easy for me.
I wonder if @Neb79 will be able to read this through all his tears?5-3 or 5-2 his winning percentage still stands as the best in the Rhule Nebraska QB’s.
3 drives with 2 interceptions (one called back by penalty), a sack and 1/5 completions. That QB? You think it was a great performance? You think he should be absolved of that to enhance his record? I see you are no longer bringing up the fact that he was quarterbacking the squad until 10 minutes and change left in the 2nd quarter. Are you finally acknowledging that he played well into the second quarter as I first asserted?go for it.
please explain why a QB who left a game tied after 3 drives deserves to have any outcome of said game reflect on his record.
What’s your point? You want Haarberg as our QB this year? I already acknowledged that he did ok with the hand he was dealt. We now have better options. Let’s enjoy them.I wonder if @Neb79 will be able to read this through all his tears?
love it when people who have proven zero points and have only shown their ass say things like "called out"
wait - do interceptions called back by penalty count as INTs? or are you just "spraying bullshit"?3 drives with 2 interceptions (one called back by penalty), a sack and 1/5 completions. That QB? You think it was a great performance? You think he should be absolved of that to enhance his record? I see you are no longer bringing up the fact that he was quarterbacking the squad until 10 minutes and change left in the 2nd quarter. yeah, and Sims came in at 10.5 minutes. Because the defense played. Because defenses play in addition to offenses, ******. I know how football works. Haarberg is the quarterback until someone else comes in.wait - do interceptions called back by penalty count as INTs? or are you just "spraying bullshit"?
HH's last snap of the game was taken 1 minute and 13 seconds into the 2nd quarter
here's the tape to prove it, retard:
literally what the f*ck are you talking about? So you want Haarberg as QB? You changed the subject. Answer the question.
So you don’t want him as QB? Then why are you still glorifying him as the greatest qb in 7 game Nebraska history despite him playing in the 8th game and sucking horribly?literally what the f*ck are you talking about?
we've all moved on, pal. it's 2025. I haven't posted about HH being the QB since he stopped being the QB. you're the one going off on some idiotic nonsensical diatribe in this thread.
you must be stuck at your trauma age. that happens to women like you sometimes.
You know what? F off. You win. I’m blocking you. I don’t know if you are retarded, your mother didn’t love you, or if you were dropped on your head. You aren’t worth arguing over.So you don’t want him as QB? Then why are you still glorifying him as the greatest qb in 7 game Nebraska history despite him playing in the 8th game and sucking horribly?
"glorifying". I accurately posted his record as the starter. we've had many QBs go 7-0 in stretches. So you don’t want him as QB? Then why are you still glorifying him as the greatest qb in 7 game Nebraska history despite him playing in the 8th game and sucking horribly?
am I crazy? This is one of the oddest thread switches ever.
I don't even know what's happening here. You guys crack me up..
Kong, smart people understand what you're saying. I can't believe this still going.
Did he start the Maryland game? If so he would have been 5-3 as a starter."glorifying". I accurately posted his record as the starter. we've had many QBs go 7-0 in stretches.
you have lost your mind.
So if he’d have played 1 single play, the same applies?Did he start the Maryland game? If so he would have been 5-3 as a starter.
Northern Ill - W - 1-0
La Tech - W - 2-0
Michigan - L - 2-1
Illinois - W - 3-1
Northwestern - W - 4-1
Purdue - W - 5-1
Michigan St L - 5-2
Maryland - L - 5-3
Glad you’re well, TimOnly guy I’ve got on ignore and now no longer on BP medication.
It’s the best!
Right or wrong that’s just the way football records its QBs .go for it.
please explain why a QB who left a game tied after 3 drives deserves to have any outcome of said game reflect on his record when it doesn't for a starting pitcher or a hockey goalie or any other team sport with individual win statistics.
Nope, according to Kong, his 1/5 start with 2 interceptions in 1/3 of game play does not count. He only counts the games he played in that he won to suit his narrative of greatest 5-2 QB ever. Despite that he was moved off the position due to better talent.Did he start the Maryland game? If so he would have been 5-3 as a starter.

How about if a pitcher starts the game, throws one pitch and hits the batter but has to then leave because he tore his fingernail?go for it.
please explain why a QB who left a game tied after 3 drives deserves to have any outcome of said game reflect on his record when it doesn't for a starting pitcher or a hockey goalie or any other team sport with individual win statistics.
Now do this for a pitcher who leaves a tie game, which is what we are discussing. How about if a pitcher starts the game, throws one pitch and hits the batter but has to then leave because he tore his fingernail?
So the runner becomes an earned run if he scores, (its irrelevant if its earned or not), but the reliever comes in and allows that run to score and the games ends up 1-0.
Who takes the loss? The starting pitcher who only faced one batter.
To win he has to throw 5 complete innings.
The rules are pretty clear kong.
What is being discussed is who the starting QB was in the game which became a loss. Now do this for a pitcher who leaves a tie game, which is what we are discussing.
Believe you’re proving my point.
Seek help.Nope, according to Kong, his 1/5 start with 2 interceptions in 1/3 of game play does not count. He only counts the games he played in that he won to suit his narrative of greatest 5-2 QB ever. Despite that he was moved off the position due to better talent.
If your entire point is “that’s just how they do it”, I have to admit, I’d be a little underwhelmed. What is being discussed is who the starting QB was in the game which became a loss.
When they do QB stats for career as a starting QB, they don't have exceptions for if a QB left the game early or the games was 4 overtimes. If he started the game, and his team lost, it’s a loss for that QB's record. Period.
JFC are you that thick headed? That’s the way football lists the All W-L records of QBs they do it by games started . Sorry that you don’t agree. If your entire point is “that’s just how they do it”, I have to admit, I’d be a little underwhelmed.
I was expecting examples.
Fact is it makes more sense to apply the record to players who actually played and contributed to the outcome, just like your baseball example which further illustrated my point.
Maryland game is an L for Sims, who lost the game. Had purdy brought us back, it’d be a W on his ledger.
