You guys do a pretty good representation of one as well. I call them fanbases. But these stupid names are the same crap that goes on in politics every day so I'm not surprised.

The jury...I remember a jury that had tons of evidence in a certain trial...had to do with a football player that lopped off some heads...turns out the jury concurred that player was innocent. Sure didn't seem like it though.
The point is (and I don't think you are arguing this) is that Dusky was raping these boys...we know that...that is in fact a fact. However you want to dress it up as a way to take blame off some and not others is fine...but the fact is he was raping boys. I think the jury agreed on that, right?
I guess I am not sure what you are arguing. Perhaps I am not making myself clear either. But clearly sex sounds and sliding on the shower floor don't sound the same at all...if they do...you are doing sex all wrong...like...really wrong.

I think the wrong people got blamed for Jerry, and this nonsense of everybody had to know does nothing to train people in the future so we can better detect when something is going on.
John, you and I can have a civil conversation about this or any number of subjects and that's the way it should be.

the degrees to which equivalencies are being applied here are most distasteful and off-putting. while I have no trouble with with past administrations and coaches at N taking lumps for transgressions as it related to the treatment of peer coeds by athletes, 'm not sure a single one of them personally walked by the the crime while in commission and then played the 'ive done all could by telling my boss and forgetting about it' card. add 'em up, let's see which column draws more repulsion.

Good point. Guess it's easier for others to besmirch a community of 650000 people for the actions of one guy. And as fans you understand we browse around to see what other teams have going on. I noticed the ridiculous post about Jay Paterno and the usual complete, unadulterated ignorance relative to joe or anything else relative to the js situation. I posted something where even Mike's dad and close friend admit he said he didn't see anything. Common sense would dictate he would report the same to the admins.
That information was never in the scumbag media so the sheep public didn't know about it. You would think information like that would mean something. To the jury it did and that's why no conspiracy was found.
But you're correct people would rather believe in the conspiracy. Not sure why but they do.
I've learned more than I ever cared to about nice guy offenders from this tragedy. They don't need enablers and they are our priests, school teachers, youth league coaches, etc. Instead of trying to learn more about detecting these folks ignorance enables more abuse.
Just watch your television every night relative to politics and you start to understand the media is broken and people are crude, ignorant, hypocritical asses. They call others disgusting names like ped state and then give themselves the moral high ground.
But remember folks in most instances you don't know what you don't know. I've had one poster in this thread arguing with me about facts, even relative to common football information, and although I've corrected the record multiple times he continues with his ignorance.
But I digress. Have a good day. And since one poster loved my bible references, once again those without sin cast the first stone. We all will be judged when we pass on. Joe was and so will you.
