Just play in Hawkes practice facility. There aren't going to be any fans present any way.
If there not playing in the fall, they won’t be playing in the Winter...
I would not invest a single dime right any any facility whose purpose is to allow masses of people to congregate.
James Franklin proposed having "BIG weekends" in the domed stadiums in Minneapolis, Detroit and Indianapolis. Play a couple of games over the weekend at each. I like it. Play ten weeks starting in January and February.
OK those are 3 indoor Stadium’s they could have 2 games in each noon and 7:00 and one game on Friday.. That could be done but no attendance from fans of the teams...
Still don’t see how winter in January and February would be better than Late September, October and November If this pandemic is this bad now it will be worse over the winter....
Agreed, a retractable roof for college teams that play almost exclusively in the fall is just a dumb idea.
Kick the season off with Three New Years day games! Follow up with three on Jan 2 the last could be new years Eve?
