Frost to coach in the Army All-American Bowl

If I had to rank people's biggest beef with Frost, maybe not in order...

1-Offered an extension he didn't deserve
2-Wasn't let go prior to the 2022 season
3-We paid 7+ mil more than we should have to fire him so early in the season, as opposed to waiting a few weeks

He did not have any control over those issues.

Yes, he turned out not to be a good coach, but I have serious doubts that anyone on this board would say no to a contract extension the likes of which he was offered....

Nobody fires themselves.

The University agreed to the buyout terms and nobody here would forgo the 7mil to resign before the infamous October date, nobody.

So just ask yourself, if he had not been offered an extension and instead was let go before it was even offered, would so many fans hate him so much? I doubt it. Every single one of those things fall on the Universities shoulders, not Frost's.
My biggest beef was that he didn't take the job (on and off the field) as seriously as he should.

..and if he was let go years ago like he should have been instead of being rewarded my guess is we look at him as just a failed coach here, sans so much venom...he sbowed the brass who he was, and tbey ignored it and rewarded him instead of doing the right thing.

I thought the last we heard he was drying out in alcohol rehabilitation place?

Those issues fall on Moos, and the idiot boosters and brass that insisted a dipshit alcoholic be left to run the athletic department, with nobody checking up on him. Bounds and Green need to be gone, and never allowed within the state borders again.

When I saw this, I thought for sure it had to be satire. But I think the same thing about many headlines these days.

To let a complete failure like Frost coach a game like this seems about right in American culture.
The number one requirement to coach that game is that you are an unemployed coach with a recognizable name….

That game brought to you by Busch Lite and the show Catfish as that is what he did to Husker fans.

I do believe in redemption. But redemption never happens until remorse is expressed for whatever the transgression might have been. That part is up to Frost.
IF he cared he could have refused the extra 7 million he got for not coaching 2 games. I’m sure he felt like he had “earned it” ☹️
